My company managed some phases of the demolition. The first morning in there we had to have the Dallas SWAT team come to clear the building and ended up finding a body. It was actually a homeless shelter for a few months prior to closing. The city just decided one day to shut the shelter down, which is why it became a homeless haven. There were multiple huge fires in the lobby and the ball rooms in the summer/spring of 2023, leading to the condemnation of the building. The owers were underwater, and the city ended up financing the demolition process to attempt to reduce the issues that came along with the property. Just a tip, get respirators, all of the drywall is asbestos in that building, along with most buildings this age. As well, they used straight asbestos insulation in the walls of this building (which is why it was so expensive to demolish).
I read into it and it turns out that the body that was discovered was due to a "security guard" that was supposedly on fire watch and killed someone during an argument, then tried to hide the body in there. Now I've got chills!
My grandfather worked there for years he retired in 2015 and it was already struggling. It was Raddison hotel and then sold off several times before went bankrupt . Very sad I remember going to amazing Christmas parties as a kid there!😢
There’s an abandoned building in downtown Dallas near AAC I think it may have been either and old jail or an old hotel but I’ve always wanted to go check it out just nobody to go with.
This hotel is currently undergoing demolition. This was the hotel right at the corner of Mockingbird and 35. Last time I went by there they've blown out the underground parking garage and tower. That area is notorious for homelessness and drug addicted squatters and that hotel has been out of business for a long time...well before Covid.
That hotel was opened in 1968. I left Dallas in 2013 and I just found out about this via this video. And yes-this was a very popular hotel with Dallas Cowboys fans (when the team played up the street at Texas Stadium) and traffic from nearby Dallas Love Field. I have been back to that area a few times since I moved away and for some reason I never noticed the place was closed/demolished. Wow!
I used to eat lunch at this hotel back in the day. My office looks out at what’s left. Looks ready to be imploded soon. Thanks for an awesome look inside
I'm so sorry to hear that your channel took a hit. I hope everything's going ok! I'm still here and enjoying your content! I also love exploring every chance I get! Hang in there!🙏💞
Hey man, I’ve been watching your content recently and I’ve really started to like it! Near Hillcrest village in Dallas Texas there’s an abandoned supermarket. I’ve been inside there’s not much and it’s pretty small but it’s still fun to go inside, if you want to see the place I’ll record a video when I go back inside and post it on my RUclips for you to watch.
One more thing to be careful of is the people who move in to places like that and stay there long enough to strip the place of all the copper. I place that big has enough copper to yield a substantial pile of cash, definitely enough for some people to kill for. When I did commercial property maintenance in Dallas I went into a few department stores, Ross for one, and found that they've been stripped of all the copper including air conditioning coils and wiring. I think it was White Rock marketplace where they even tried to steal the service wires coming from the transformer. They didn't walk away.
I was going to say I saw Miss Melissa there in the 00s, but I'm thinking of Coit and 635. I can't recall the blonde I saw at this hotel once...mid 2010s I'm guessing?
7610 North Stemmons freeway, near a truist you will find this hotel. As of december 2023 there were demo crews working on this building and is most likely under some level of security now.
I worked at this hotel in the 90s. It was first a Sheraton and then Radisson when I worked there. It used to be a great hotel that hosted large meetings and groups. I booked several events for large companies in those ballrooms. When it was sold, I left. It changed owners many times. Unfortunately, they never put money into it. Your video is incorrect though. This hotel was abandoned LONG before Covid. BTW your light was off most of the time. I was trying to see if I recognized my old office.😂
I'd be happy to provide security for y'all, no charge. I would wait outside with a 2 way radio and y'all would call me if you encounter any issues. I have a LCH and plenty of experience. Just let me know. I enjoy your videos. I live near Rockwall.
Hello from New Orleans area. 1st time here.. 8/24 . So I wanted to ask question Is the Ramada in Fort Worth about 1 block from interstate still there. Back in 1995 I stayed there bc of car show. Low Riders full house. True story I booked a room before I went there checking in about 6 am The room key given to me was 666 I know but it's true .. I said come on man !! Sorry it's last room bc u booked ahead full house. Oh yes tired and concerned slept with 1 eye open . Just wondering what happened to that hotel?
I used to drive by that on the way to work 10 years ago. I always thought it was the most ungainly, awkward and ugly building on 35. With the exception of that weird tan/grey cement monstrosity you can see from the roof in your video.
Broooo contáctame tengo un lugar en la mira recientemente abandonado aquí en north Dallas por si tienes chance de explorarlo, me encantan tus videos espero esté todo bien.
Being in Dallas, with so few abandoned places like that, you never know when you're going to stumble into a crack house. I don't mean a flop house with a bunch of addicts hanging out. I mean the organized distribution centers. If you stumble into one of those, you might not get out. Summer run by people who are from this country and you know all they got to do is split and go back home and nobody will ever find out who put it end to your career.
I cannot stand scrappers. It just exemplifies how little morality there exists in the US any longer. No respect for things that don't belong to people. Too much of this attitude, "well, if there's no one looking, I'm gonna take it." And even worse, it doesn't have to be abandoned buildings either. Scrappers love to hit up new housing developments. I had a friend in construction, and every now and then they'd come into the worksite to find all their work from the prior day ripped out of the building and gone.

It’s great when we can document these places. My memory may not grasp onto this forever, but this helps a lot.
Keep it up man 👍

Hey, could you tell me where this is?
Thank you for telling the truth about the danger. The teens need to hear it from someone who knows.
We missed you. I do check your Instagram from time to time. Pics on there are art. Looking forward to more.

I used to stay at this Sheraton. If you sat on the balcony long enough you would learn how to steal cars from watching it happen.
I use to work there back in 2010 as a laundry attendant, looks about the same. The hotel was a dump to begin with
What’s the address for this location?
