    • @r_panda1280
      @r_panda1280 5 лет назад +109

      They both are exaggerated satires of the rich and privileged. Ready or Not is more comedic but it falls in a similar vein to Get Out, Rosemary's Baby, The Stepford Wives and so on.

    • @jackjjorgensen2501
      @jackjjorgensen2501 5 лет назад +37

      Get Out is essentially a giant metaphor for racism, not an “exaggerated satire”

    • @r_panda1280
      @r_panda1280 5 лет назад +62

      JackDoesYT But.... it IS a satire. I think a film, especially one like Get Out, can be nuanced enough to be more than one thing. Satire is the use of humour or exaggeration to expose certain topical issues. In Get Out it was racism. I’m Ready or Not it was the class divide.

    I loved this movie. But in no way was it a thriller. I honestly think it’s better described as a comedy. It was a hilarious movie

    When I saw her in The Babysitter I thought she looked like a combination of Emma Stone, and Margot Robbie. You can see Emma in her eyes. Do you see it too?

    That dress (at least the stage 1 version) was a very pretty wedding dress!
