I hit a pothole while turning, and the exact same thing happened where my steering wheel got stiff, and I panicked , I'm a girl and dont know shit about cars, lol It's crazy how a busted fuse could do to your car . Went to orileys and got 2 new fuses, and it worked ! Thank you so much, sir !
Bro thanks for posting. This saved me today. This happened to my charger while driving. Luckily I was merging off the highway and close to work. Followed the directions in the vid and made the replacement and it worked to perfection👍🏾💪🏾
Thank you much. Had a blown 50 A fuse. But now the question is - the fuse is the weakest link in the electric chain, means, something caused it to be burnt, and just replacing the fuse will nor resolve the larger problem that exists somewhere.
@@cool46787 I brought it to dealer in hope to find electrical problem. They reached reservoir with the power steering fluid. The fluid had low level, they flushed it and filled new. Was it real cause or not, but since then the problem never returned.
@@bumpylump9236 It is 2014 R/T. That time i replaced fuse twice, and each time it blown up a week after replacement. Took the car to garage, and apparently, although it electrical steering, it does have power steering reservoir, while the fluid was slightly less than the minimal level. They have added the fluid and it resolved the problem.

Hello sir. I was surprised to see you turning the steering wheel with just one finger. My steering wheel is quite stiff,do you know what could be the cause by any chance? Is it steering wheel fluid? I have 2012 dodge charger. Thank you so much.
That’s only a temporary fix you need to find out why is the fuse burning out I have the same problem and been replacing fuses for a week already I was told it’s the power steering pump.
**DITTO** My 2013 Charger SE 3.6L is also doing the same thing and I also do not have the steering wheel indicator light on. It started suddenly about a week ago so I've been constantly filling and refilling it with power steering fluid assuming that there was a leak somewhere although I did a pretty thorough check. Initially, adding p/s fluid was the only solution that I knew to do until I could afford $700+ for a new power steering pump. Initially the fluid was allowing me to steer with ease for about 4-5 hours but now it's getting stiff again within almost the same hour. The sun is just coming up here so I haven't gone outside to check fuses yet but I'm wondering if that could even be my issue seeing as though adding p/s fluid effectively loosens my steering wheel for the moment?? I'm hoping it's the fuses because I for some reason would have NEVER thought of this fix.
I love this man he saved me and my family from being towed

I’m very appreciate your help bro 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you you saved me soo much!!!
What if there is power steering fluid on the front passenger side?
Thank you so much amigo it worked
Couldn’t you just pull a 50a fuse from somewhere else to see if that fixes the problem?
What if my steering isn’t stiff but everything on my steering wheel stopped working. Turn signals/cruise control/windshield wipers none of them work.
Would that also be a fuse?
I think that would be something else.
