We're truly living in a great age, Buddhism being brought at this high level to so many people, with such low thresholds of accessibility! Thank you very much for your work!

Thank you so so much for this great contribution to humanity. It's not easy to come across such an in depth history of the various buddhist schools of thought and lineages even if you are a member of a particular sangha.

Completely fascinating. Thank you so much!
Distinction between past present and future co-existing and and only the present moment existing is interesting to ponder.

Thanks also to the person who did the graphics - without it I would not have been able to follow and retain what was being taught.

Nagasena of the Milindapanha IIRC was Saravastivadin. I would be curious just how far apart the schools were in their actual relationship, if they really were living together in harmony like Xuanzang described or if there was animosity.
I want to point out that many scholars doubt the Mahadeva account of the first scism.

Ajaan Geoff notes that today it does not make much sense to refer to schools of Buddhism. It would be like referring to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as three schools of monotheism; better to see the them as different Buddhist religions.
