    Brooke and Gary, I am so thankful for taking us on this incredibly luscious dive. For a few moments I was transported to an indescribable garden of grouper casually lounging in the deep water sun, undisturbed by their new friends diving among them. It must have been breathtaking. Thank you for all the extra effort to film, edit, and share these wonderful vignettes with us. All the while, you both keep getting better looking as well…. Hmmm 🤔

    Can I give ya'll a fishing tip. You need a bottle of cheap rum on deck when fishing. Pour the rum on the gulls and the fish is dead instantly. No mess with a fish flopping on the deck potentially injuring someone. Give it a try. Rubbing alcohol works the same. It doest take much just a little.

    • @sallyjane8392
      @sallyjane8392 10 месяцев назад +1

      Great fishing, you can try the rum in the gills trick although I had a fish go insane after pouring the rum. Best option is to drop a rope loop over the tail before you lift the fish onboard. That way he can’t escape.

    Ladies first
    Hey, Brook and Gary, excellent video!
    I felt the lost feeling you must have felt Gary when the Mahi got away. Well at least some sharks going to have an easy meal due to the bleeding from the Gaff pole! Thankfully you caught the 26 lbs Mahi on way to second Atoll.
    Yes, that coming out of the passage of the Atoll was some ride "wow"! Thankfully the 2nd atoll was a breeze to navigate through.
    Darn that diving to see the grouper and sharks was amazing during the egg laying sperm shooting the night before your dive, but still spectacular with your dive. And still a good number of sharks.
    Looking forward to next video and hope that grouper was good eating. Thankfully you caught the grouper before entering Atoll as if I remember correctly on Delos's video of this event. It is against the law to fish inside this Atoll you are at. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers

      Hey Jonathan! We were so gutted when we lost that fish and felt awful about the giant hole in it's side. Definitely shark bait. That is correct, you are not able to eat the grouper inside the pass as they are protected. Cheers!!

    Awesome video covering a few highs and lows. Should have a warning about not eating while watching the pass exiting scenes. Hard to explain getting see sick from 4500 miles away 🤣🤣 BTW, I could just loop the scuba scenes over and over. So relaxing to watch. Thank for sharing yet another awesome adventure.

    I bet you really had to twist Brian and Kazza's arms to take a dive to show you the groupers and sharks... I can hear their response: "Don't threaten us with a good time!" lol.. I've seen the groupers before in other videos, but I don't recall any of them really focusing on the sharks much, the footage was awesome!

    Witness nature’s ultimate will to live. The big boy won, and lucky you didn’t have to treat wounds. Like you said, coping is rule one. You can’t prepare for a battle like that. Imagine if it had been a big ono, with teeth like a dog that can rip your arm open. So glad you had no damage beyond the blood on deck.
