Brooke and Gary, I am so thankful for taking us on this incredibly luscious dive. For a few moments I was transported to an indescribable garden of grouper casually lounging in the deep water sun, undisturbed by their new friends diving among them. It must have been breathtaking. Thank you for all the extra effort to film, edit, and share these wonderful vignettes with us. All the while, you both keep getting better looking as well…. Hmmm 🤔
Hi guys! I think I've seen this dive on a couple different channels (WeSail, Delos,, Parley) in the last few months and it never gets old! I actually feel like I've been there for myself... thanks for sharing 😊
Excellent mahi catch. I was cheering you on with the first mahi screaming "hold on, HOLD ON!" The Faky pass footage was amazing, thanks for sharing. As someone else said, even though I have seen WE, Delos and Parlay's clips, it is never old, well done guys!
We are still so gutted about losing that first one! Thanks for coming along with us! Happy to hear you enjoyed our video as well, even though you've already been on the dive several times :) Cheers!
Unbelievable ! I thought the exit from the atoll was a pretty wild ride but, the dive really outdid anything I've seen yet. Magical diving with all those grouper and sharks. Great, great video you guys ! I don't know how you will ever outdo this one ! Safe travels !
Your videos never disappoint, always something new and entertaining. Great to see you meet up with Delos. The underwater footage is spectacular, I'm sure this will be burned in your memories forever. Manuia!
Folks. What a Awesome Dive that was super cool. Sure glad you had a backup plan for the second fish. My heart sank when the first one decided to say Bye Bye Bye. ❤❤❤❤
The sea state appeared to be challenging. Beautiful dive. Certainly the second Mahi tasted better than the first 🫣. Great catch 👍. Beautiful location. We’re digging out from 5” of beautiful white powder and single digit temps ❄️. Warmer days are in the forecast. Cheers 🥂😊
Hi Trent! We felt awful when the mahi slid over the side with a giant gaff hole in it's side! Thankful King Neptune found us worthy of reeling in another! 5" snow, burrr! Hope the warmer days head your way real soon!
That was so amazing. All those groupers. Then those reef sharks. Man that was great. I wish I could have been there. Thank you for sharing your adventure. That was great.😊
Gosh. I was thinking "Gary! Don't you lose that fish!" and then..... Heartbreak. Funny for me watching a few months later and a few thousand miles away! Lol Glad you got the second one
I haven't laughed that hard in a long time seeing that first catch flip it body so hard to get away. My heart sank with you, but it still funny. All good!
Wow guy's that pass coming outa that cut was epic you both are so brave!!! And that massive big mahi that got away would be so disappointing but so glad you got another big mahi to fill ya freezer with!!! Can I give ya'll a fishing tip. You need a bottle of cheap rum on deck when fishing. Pour the rum on the gulls and the fish is dead instantly. No mess with a fish flopping on the deck potentially injuring someone. Give it a try. Rubbing alcohol works the same. It doest take much just a little.
Great fishing, you can try the rum in the gills trick although I had a fish go insane after pouring the rum. Best option is to drop a rope loop over the tail before you lift the fish onboard. That way he can’t escape.
Get a wet towel Gary!
I couldn’t do the rum thing…the bottle would be empty 😅
Woodin.. bat across the head stops them from flopping around also.
We keep cheap vodka on board for this. Works great!
That was incredible.
