Hi Dragana, greetings from a new subscriber in the UK.What a wonderful video,I too love to experiment like a mad scientist lol,and the effects you achieved are so beautiful.Thank you for sharing, you are such a lovely, patient talented artist and tutor, and love love love the items you created for your journals.wow!xx
Hello Gabrielle and welcome! ❤️ Thank you so much for such kind comment, I really, really appreciate it! 😊 Oh, I know what you're saying about experimenting, so true, I'm going mad with this 😆. I keep thinking what if I try with this, and what about that plant... I don't think I'll be able to stop any time soon. It's so addictive and I love the element of surprise with each print. Thank you so much for subscribing and watching! ❤️
Thank you for the great video with the comprehensive explanations. I love that you also show at the end how you further processed the papers. That's super!
These are absolutely beautiful! I’m just stunned by your creativity. I think I would have a hard time cutting up the papers. Sometimes I make copies of the master boards so I can use them in different ways. I love the ways you used the papers to make the tags, photo frames and ephemera. Now I need to get busy and try some of these ideas. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 😊
so much inspiration and great creations...you are amazing...thanks for sharing...I liked these the best....of the 2 videos...but both are awesome. I read somewhere that if we use an aluminum pan when dying the color will be different than if in glass or plastic.....I think it was from a lady who works with all kinds of mordants and dyes cloth as well as paper...I'm still gathering info from all of you...so I can then decide how I will best proceed.
Thank you so much for watching and for this great comment! I really appreciate it. I read somewhere about aluminum pans as well, but can't remember where. I'm going to get some alum and try again with cooking method but I'll use only fabric. This is so addictive and exciting! I just love eco dyeing. I hope you have fun with your project too 😊❤️
That's great! I hope you have lots of fun! It's so addictive dyeing paper this way, you never know what you'll get and sometimes you get amazing results 😊❤️
WOW! WOW! WOW! Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so very much for sharing your process with us! The results are just absolutely amazing! But, what you created out of the papers is just beyond amazing!!! You are amazing!!! Everything you touch turns out amazing!!! *******A M A Z I N G ! ! ! ******* 💕
Oh, Andi, thank you so much for your AMAZING comment! I'm glad you liked the video and my creations! I feel blessed having a subscriber like you. ❤️❤️❤️
These ALL turned out beautiful Dragana, and OMG...at the end! You made so many lovely things using the papers you dyed. I also like your attention to the little details. (dangles & tabs etc. ) What an inspirational video - thanks! I will have to try doing some paper dyeing.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, it was a lot of fun dyeing those papers, and using them afterwards, was even more enjoyable! ❤️😊
Wow! You’ve really made it! Those are amazing results. Thank you so much for sharing❤️ I’ve only tried ecodying once, but I will definitely need to do it again.
You're most welcome! I'm really glad you liked the video and I'm so happy you'll give it a go. The element of surprise with each print is what I like most with eco printing. Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
Oh my, what great papers come out from this fantastic tutorial 💙 love the calmness of your talking, the patience you show..... Love love love your videos 🤗😘
Ah Steffi thank you so, so much! I'm really glad you liked the video and the papers. ❤️ I've just been in the garden and instead of enjoying the weather and the spring beauty, I'm looking at different plants and thinking how I could turn them into eco prints 😆😂
Great fun! I wonder if the prints would have been clearer if they had dried a bit more. The beautiful one with the large leaves looks like butterfly wings!
Thank you so much for watching! I'm really glad you liked the video. Good point about drying them longer with the leaves on, worth a try. Thank you for that 😊❤️
New Subbie here from the USA. These all turned out awesome! I have rose petals drying and onion skins. I keep adding to them. I love how the rust water worked so well. I need to make some rust water and give it a try. Thank you for doing all these fun experiments. I am eager to try them.
Hello Angela and welcome to the channel! I'm really happy that you liked the video and got inspired to make some eco prints yourself. I was also surprised how the rust water worked so well, I'm going to be using it more in my project from now on. I also love using onion skins, it gives beautiful brown colors. Drying flowers is a great idea, so you can have them on hand when you like to use them. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing ❤️😊🤗
I really enjoyed this video! I bought myself some carnations so when they start to die I can use the to try your first video this way. I would have loved to see a craft with me video when you were doing all that yummy ephemera! Keep it up, I love what you are doing and watching the results you are getting.
That makes me really happy to hear! I love carnations, I haven't tried with them but now I want to 😊. I got some lilac tree flowers the other day from my neighbors and I'm eager to start using them. I might do some craft with me videos in the future, it's on my list 😉 Thank you so much for watching and for this lovely comment! ❤️😊
@@yesimadeitmyself I bought some at a local pharmacy, it came in a form of a stick, like crayon. I think it was meant for cosmetic use, for men, to stop bleeding if they cut themselves when shaving 😆
I so loved your video! Excellent explanation of your process, and the comparison of all the different papers was great! Seeing finished projects made the video top notch! I’m a subscriber now - thank you! ❤️
You're most welcome! I'm really glad you liked it. Eco dyeing is so much fun because, in a way, it's unpredictable. The results are never the same and making things from them is even more exciting! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing and for this kind comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️
Those are so amazing! They turned out absolutely gorgeous! I love how the leaves added even more character to the pages! How long do you let them air dry? I have never eco dyed any papers before. I am definitely going to give it a try. I'm a new subscriber! I saw your video on Junk Journal Tutorials. I'm so glad I came across it!!
Hello and welcome! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. I'm really glad you liked the video! ❤️ I lay the papers on some plastic bags flat on the floor or over the bed and leave them like that until they dry. Sometimes it takes only a few hours, sometimes longer. Depends of the temperature in the house. I don't put them in direct sunlight. When they're dry I stack them and put heavy book on top until I'm ready to use them. 😊
Yes, one of the viewers also suggested red cabbage, she said that when you add soda bicarbonate to it, the papers turn green. I'm going to try. Thank you so much for watching!😊
Thank you so much for watching! One bottle is with strained pickled beetroot juice, the other is peel of two oranges cooked in 2 cups of water for about 15 minutes, then strained. Rust water is in the green bottle. This is how I made it: I placed 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water and added some rusty nails, let it stand at least 1 week then strain. I hope this helps ❤️😊
@@Saacibo Many, many thanks for the explanation. I can have what's in writing translated, but I can't keep up with the oral part. The paper is beautiful and I would like to try it out. Have a wonderful day and best wishes
It’s actually iron mordant. You can find the recipe here, it starts around 7 minutes into the video ruclips.net/video/CS_r9rfo4es/видео.htmlsi=bzvXzfZLIxg5vkGR

Perhaps the vinegar in the water dried faster than the water causing contractions with the beetroot paper
It's possible. Thank you for watching 😊❤️

for green use avocado
I used avocado in a different experiment but I only managed to get dusty pink. How do you get green, if you don’t mind sharing? 😊

Wunderschöne Papiere! Leider verstehe kein Englisch. Kann mir bitte jemand übersetzten was in diesen drei Flaschen ist? Ganz lieben Dank
