Thank you so much! I have 2 real ones, 7x10 and 12x12 and I still go for the home made one 😆. Love it because it’s a bit softer. Mine has been going into its second year and no mold yet. I’ve been adding food preservative every time I melted it. If you can easily get a real one, it’s ok, but for me the international postage was higher than the gel plate. I made mine for 1/4 of the cost of real one.

I love the idea of having pages ready made for signatures instead of just ephemera. I have trouble putting signatures together & can see this method working well for me.

Hi, thank you so much for watching. If your book pages are very old and brittle perhaps it's best to use them for collages. One way of making them a bit stronger is going over them with a layer or two of varnish, clear gesso (not white), or watered down white glue. 😊

It's so obvious to me now, that what happened here in the 90s was the result of Russia's meddling here. Same style of barbaric warfare, targeting civilians and completely destroying infrastructure. I can only hope the madness will stop soon before more lives are lost. It's so, so sad and scary 😔.
