Thanks for sharing this tutorial - I really appreciate it. I tried following the same steps, but I couldn't find the software update icon on my SYNC 4. Is there a way to activate the icon if it's disabled? Thanks again!
I am not sure if there is a way to activate the icon. This was on a Mustang. What car do you have? maybe it's a bit different.
I dont have a button for software update, can you guide me to how I can add it? Or if I can update it manually.
Note: I know how to use forscan.
If the update is available it should show up there. All Sync 4 systems have upgrade options and no for scan is required

@@Red5ohsorry but I think this guy is facing the same problem as mine. Ford cars in the middle east with sync4 system do not actually have the option (Software updates). I guess that's why he mentioned Forscan if there was anyway to enable it using Forscan
