All the options there have a help button. For example the recurrent schedule is NOT for checking if there is an update, but for finishing the update process in cases when the update requires the vehicle to be restarted.
@@Red5ohsorry but I think this guy is facing the same problem as mine. Ford cars in the middle east with sync4 system do not actually have the option (Software updates). I guess that's why he mentioned Forscan if there was anyway to enable it using Forscan

I dont have a button for software update, can you guide me to how I can add it? Or if I can update it manually.
Note: I know how to use forscan.
If the update is available it should show up there. All Sync 4 systems have upgrade options and no for scan is required

I am not sure if there is a way to activate the icon. This was on a Mustang. What car do you have? maybe it's a bit different.
