One woman I worked with, long ago, was robust in appearance and manner. A colleague said that she looked like she should be accompanied everywhere by a military marching band.
She was playing a stereotypical powerful woman who = a bitch, and the character was just plain mean - this is not being a ‘Queen’ or remotely empowering for any woman. It simply repeats the stereotype that a strong woman has to be beguiling, sexy, beautiful, well dressed and bitchy. Horrible character, horrible show.

that little prick adam was always up to something...when al corley advised when his current contract expired he wld be leaving the role...the producers panicked and created the stupid far fetched storyline of the 1st born son kidnapped 20 some odd years earlier...poorly written character..the character crossed certain boundries that destroyed trust and wld be hard to come back from....bad enough when he set his mother up to take the fall for poisoning jeff....but when he got blake to sign over POA when blake was at his worst...that type of betrayal wld be vry haed for any parent to tolerate including the high moral noble blake carrington....even if blake eventuallky forgave him...the relationship wld be destroyed beyond repair....then at the end of season 7 they formally adopt adam(it was later revealedin s8 that he was infact their bio child)..there is no fckn way on earth i would adopt an individual that had done the things adam did..i wld have changed the phone numbers and left instructions at the main gate that he shld be shot on site if he attempted to gain entry.

Behind the scenes Adam had Jeff's office redecorated using paint containing a toxic compound that messed with Jeff's mind, nearly being fatal. Alexis knew of Adam's plan & only went along with it when he blackmailed her - he tricked her into signing off on the purchase order for the compound. When Blake learned what happened he forced Alexis to call off the merger, which she did to protect Adam.
The water is right in front of her and she makes someone else pour it for her! What a queen!

that little prick adam was always up to something...when al corley advised when his current contract expired he wld be leaving the role...the producers panicked and created the stupid far fetched storyline of the 1st born son kidnapped 20 some odd years earlier...poorly written character..the character crossed certain boundries that destroyed trust and wld be hard to come back from....bad enough when he set his mother up to take the fall for poisoning jeff....but when he got blake to sign over POA when blake was at his worst...that type of betrayal wld be vry haed for any parent to tolerate including the high moral noble blake carrington....even if blake eventuallky forgave him...the relationship wld be destroyed beyond repair....then at the end of season 7 they formally adopt adam(it was later revealedin s8 that he was infact their bio child)..there is no fckn way on earth i would adopt an individual that had done the things adam did..i wld have changed the phone numbers and left instructions at the main gate that he shld be shot on site if he attempted to gain entry.

dnt think even today how mny nvr realized how ground breaking dynasty was.....alexis was the CEO of a billion dollar fortune 500 company...a bit of narcassistic self absorbed whack job...but a sexually liberated women....this baordroom scene was well written,well played and well directed...she strode in that old boy boardroom...elf-assured,confident and in charge...put them all on notice...cleared her throught and asked adam for a glass of water that she nvr even sipped...and them told them old boys...she is a very direct room...and please be reminded that i have controling interest in denver carrington.....i will fire you all on the spot...and replaces your asses with a board that will approve it...

Blake found out about Jeff being poisoned - but even though Adam was the one doing the poisoning, he managed to frame Alexis for it. Blake threatened to turn the "proof" over to the media unless Alexis called off the merger.

Behind the scenes Adam had Jeff's office redecorated using paint containing a toxic compound that messed with Jeff's mind, nearly being fatal. Alexis knew of Adam's plan & only went along with it when he blackmailed her - he tricked her into signing off on the purchase order for the compound. When Blake learned what happened he forced Alexis to call off the merger, which she did to protect Adam.
