Chester has the voice for this song, but seems a bit rushed. He's not singing in the pocket.

Chester's voice is good, but it's a bit flat. I love Scott's version (back then) a lot more, there's passion in his voice.

Faster than original and no falsetto.

Chester had a higher voice and bigger rante than Scott, so he didn't need to use falsetto to reach these notes; if anything, him not resorting to falsetto here just shows how great of a singer he was
It IS a lot faster than the original though, I agree with you on that
