AERATION VS. CAVITATION

So in a stock situation where the injectors don’t require that much fuel, how does the return trickle of fuel work? Where is all the extra unused fuel going? The pump supplies a large volume of fuel doesn’t it?

It recirculates back to the suction side of the pump though the fuel pressure regulator.
