Well done! to the point, no "bad comedy act" like most posters (why do they all think they are funny??) direct and efficient, great job! big thumbs up here, and a subscribe.
You make it look so easy. Seen the ones that Rockler Woodworking has but never been willing to spend the $70 for it. This looks much more affordable and just as functional.
First. That was just a joke. The video is great. Not only a cool accessory for a router, but there are also several tips on the video that can be used frequently in the shop.
Saw the Wood Whisperer use painters tape as you did but he use CA glue. Put the glue on one side shot the other piece with accelerator. Worked great. Nice video Patrick, I always learn something from you. 👍🏻
Thanks, Dave It one of those projects that were needed to make another project in my case I needed to make a jig to make a jig to make a jig lol it will make sense next video thanks for watching
You must have purchased a, "Brand X" router? My palm router came with an edge guide. But, your video still have value since one can make an edge guide with a much wider range. Nice video. Barry
OK. Perfect videos! Great detail but not too long. You gave measurements but having it on your website is seriously genius! You have the Best how to videos on you tube!
Hey Patrick buddy that was a great idea and a great video. Off to build one now. Ps hope ice is still doing good buddy. Been busy and ain't had much time to keep up on eats going on.
Very cool Patrick. I can see that being very useful for making fluted moldings and the like. Also Where can I buy officially branded Patrick's workshop spray on sticky stuff?
Hey Brother Mark !!! it will be very useful for lots of things coming up, and well I don't have a line of products (as of yet) but I do have the My labels available on my website on the plans page as a free downloadable pdf you could print out and put on your cans thanks for watching buddy
id like to ask where you got the dust collector accessory for the router i have a dewalt palm router and would like to find a dust collector also i made the guide and it works great
Hey, Duane, I got the dust collector Attachment from Amazon there is a link in the description of the video Very cool man glad you liked the jig Thanks so much for watching
I did a full Restoration of My Dads old Craftsman 100 table saw I have a video series of it check it out lots more to come on that saw coming up as I build the table saw station
How do you make sure you're cutting parallel to the edge? Seems like it'd involve measuring, adjusting, measuring, Is there any quick way to ensure both ends of the sliding part are equidistant?
having the fence (the sliding part ) square to the jig is not needed all you need to do is line up the center of the bit where you want it to cut and push the fence up to the edge and tighten it down if you follow my facebook page facebook.com/Patricksworkshop/ I will post a quick video on this in a day or so showing how it works thanks for the question Andy
Hello Mike the router I used in this video is the DW611 made by DeWalt I have links in the description check them out Its a great Router and if u get the combo kit with the plunge base it makes it even better thanks for watching and have good day
for sure, masking tape is cheap and so is contact cement compared to double-sided tape also I'm not a fan of the foam double sided tape either, and if this saves time and materials then its the way to go thanks for watching

You could've used a Forstner bit to countersink the bolt heads. It would have been a LOT easier than doing ti with a router.
id like to ask where you got the dust collector accessory for the router i have a dewalt palm router and would like to find a dust collector also i made the guide and it works great
Hey, Duane, I got the dust collector Attachment from Amazon there is a link in the description of the video Very cool man glad you liked the jig Thanks so much for watching

Thanks So much For checking out my Video
Patrick's WorkShop a lot of cool tools, I can see using that for cutting profiles in pergola posts for rich detail. Thanks for linking everything too
Also, what table saw is being used in the video?
I did a full Restoration of My Dads old Craftsman 100 table saw I have a video series of it check it out lots more to come on that saw coming up as I build the table saw station
