I’ve fitted one of these a month for the last year I’d say, if you open the controller module you’ll see they suffer from water ingress. Buy yourself a 20x1.5mm tap for chasing the threads before refitting. Keep the videos coming fellas. P.s. where do I buy a Roddie? 🙄🙄🤪🤪🤪
I saved alot of Peugeots, Citroens just remove control module, open it, clean it, use alot dielectrical grease, use good glue to glue it back and use plastidip on module. That will solve 99% of NOx problems, because place of this sensor is really sad and it getting alot of water. Only replacing it for new expensive one is just excuse how to make money and because its easier just remove old one and put on new one....
Best heating it up until it glows if safe to do so and then a bucket of cold water over it . shocks the metal got that tip from an old mechanic works ever time .
I have a partner van it has a yellow triangle light and no power from the turbo with the engine temperature starting to drop is this from this same problem as the video or could it be electrical problem?
Oh yes sir weve verified your fault , its gonna cost you 500 quid , (thud) hello sir are you there ?😂😂👍, did one on a boxer van last year, tight as a camels you know what , thread ripper definitely Sandy , great job , had a guy turn up today with a 68 plate vivaro , a screen fitters van , it 20 mins to get it to start on him after his last job , ignition not working, no dash lights at all , all driving lights on all time , wipers indicators and brake lights ok , I said dont turn it off , take it to the stealers if you're not driven through water , should be a warranty job 👍👍my head hurts enough without looking at that one , take care guys
Hi Sandy I have Peugeot 5008 1.6 HDI 2016. Urea and Emission control fault showed in the dash. Nox sensor was changed last 3 months. I have topped up the adblue but the urea is still blinkin. Any thoughts? Thanks. You’re very helpful.
I think this sensor only check if your emission systems works fine, it doesent control it.. but in time you would get "urea" light on, and then it would start to count from 1200km, and once it reach zero car wont start anymore..

Pretty sure it only activates when it’s doing a regen.
Hi I'm and HGV to tech and this is a common problem the Tap I have and use it a M20 1.5 metric fine and must be a plug tap
Cheers Graeme, the engineer who fixed it says he does a lot of work on HGV exhausts with similar issues
@@sandyande yeah we some times have to cut out the boss and weld in a a new one
