    Thanks for posting this video. I have a P2207 fault ( NOx sensor heater control circuit high bank 1 ) and was thinking of changing out the sensor, did you have to inform the ECU that a new part had been fitted or can the part just be swapped out without any of that stuff? Thanks in advance. Ian.

    Thanks for the helpful video. I’ve got a 2017 relay with a nox sensor error keep coming up. My error code is for bank 1, is this the same sensor as you changed in the video? Are there any other nox sensors in the system or just this one?

    Useful video thanks. I had the nox fault on our citroen and just changed sensor.I only have car scanner on my phone but it initially read and cleared codes. However it won't reset the Urea fault and limit. Do I need access to professional diagnostic kit? Thanks

    • @diydaly

      Hi Chris yeah im afraid you'll need a decent bit of kit to do the urea limit etc... I use a snap on devise that works, either snap on, bosch or any of the top brands will all do it 👍

    Thanks for the vid. V. helpful. I think this has gone on my Peugeot Boxer. It's 2016, 2.0 HDI. Coming up as P2202 on the OBD. Do you think this will definitely be the problem? Is there anything else to check first? Thanks.

      Thanks for the comment 👍👌 , yeah they are a mega common issue mate.. u need to just check the wiring is ok first but I’d say there’s a 95% chance it’s the sensor I’m afraid .. Is the diesel one in the same place on grandland x 1.5 diesel? I can see one on top of the engine from the bonnet. I presume that nox sensor 1. Using car scanner app with a 327 adaptor I'm getting a reading from sensor 1 bank 1 but nothing from sensor 2 bank 1. I'm mechanically illiterate, hope that makes sense.

    • @diydaly
      @diydaly  Год назад +2

      I’m not too sure on the grand land x tbh, some models only have 1, if it has got 2 the second on may be located quite far down the system , you’ll need to have a really good look underneath

  • @Sagaofsr

    Stupid question but I have this fault code and the heaters are running cold. Does the NOx sensor impact the heaters at all? Or is this a separate fault

    • @diydaly
      @diydaly  Год назад +2

      No I’m afraid that’s a separate fault mate , check your coolant level first .. they are prone to the radiators leaking and there’s a water housing on the side of the engine above the gearbox that’s leaks too

    Iv put my diagnostics tool on and it coming up with a P2202 NOX SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW BANK 1
    If I was to take this down the motorway will this cure the problem then I can just reset the engine management light
