That's so cool that Steve mentioned the great Allan Holdsworth (who I have been a fan of for over 40 years)! I have always loved that first chorusy chord he played, as well as all of the other great parts on the song. I had thought he may have used a couple of chorus pedals to get such a cool sound. I'm glad I know now that he used the Boss Dimension DC-3 pedal! When he plays that one chord on here it doesn't sound like it has the more exaggerated "depth" setting like it did on the recording. Maybe playing it in stereo makes the chorusy sounds more exaggerated? Anyway, what a great sound and technique the phenomenal Steve Stevens has!
I love that he was influenced by Allan Holdsworth. Steve was playing the riff from Fred when talking about it: ruclips.net/video/X2FWgkcTc4U/видео.html

Collins dictionary has a picture of Steve where you find “Underrated”
👍🇦🇺
Not underrated. He has a monster reputation as a guitarist and writer
Instant chill bumps❤
Geniale lessons Steve, great.
Glad you liked it!
Love this!!!
Why is Rick Beato not talking about Steve Stevens?!
Good question!
Been wondering this for a while!
Amazing
❤😊❤
Id love to know what pedals are needed to play this
You don't realize all the nuance that's happening until you see it. Johnny Marr and Steve facially look like they could be related.
On that note, the Johnny Marr Jaguar is quite a nice instrument too!

🎸
Anybody notice how Steve paints his left hand finger nails black like Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme?
I’m betting Steve did it first
Steve Stevens is still my best guitar player with Jake E LEE
The funny thing is that no one can play that opening lick
Genius
