I could be completely wrong but I feel like BYD wasn’t looking to solve for FSD. They already have a partnership for batteries. With this china news happening, im wondering if BYD could be in the scope to license FSD?
BYD said publicly they weren't working on it, I'm sure licensing FSD from Tesla has been the plan all along.

The FSD update is just a marketing ploy for a bug fix. They knew they better not put a letter value 'a' after the previous revision's numerical value to avoid this perception
