Nice condition, not easy to find. The King Blackfoot, is my favourite of the range, hopefully Tamiya will rerelease it one day 😎 I’d go box art for the body.
Keep it as is. It looks very clean and the wheels contrast nicely. I bought one for next to nothing a few years back. Painted it gold for some reason. Instantly regretted it. But I still keep it around because they are such fun to bomb around with.
These were probably Tamiya's ultimate 2WD truck. Great gearbox. Shame they came a long at the same time as the Stampede which was next level in handling and the general buying public's expectations had moved along.
Not many still have the rear bumper attached. Soon as it wheelies you are in danger of breaking it off. I have put a wheelie bar on mine after restoring it. love it. Great truck.
We have the quick drive Blackfoot, 1992 only. Has the Chevy square body body like the clod buster, but scaled to 1/14 scale. Check it out in our videos 😁
My friend do u still have the king blackfoot? I recently bought a king blackfoot new unassembled, it’s a bit pricey and I understand it cuz it’s really rare nowadays it’s the original 97 that made me stop buying the monster beetle and the rerelease blackfoot I already own 12 rcs now I need to stop lol.
Yepp , still got it 👍 Congrats on a really nice car and yes the are not easy to find in good condition. Easier to find a monster beetle than a king Blackfoot 👍

Thanks my friend 👍 the chassis is the same almost , but king Blackfoot has "normal " arms like most other cars , but Blackfoot has the swingArm style with the laydown dampers in the rear . I think the king preforms better 😊 I think the gearbox is the same 🤔
The Hornet sticker on the tailgate is a nice touch!
Same chassis on the black foot as the frog and Subaru brat. was next level design in the early 80s for independent rear suspension... love them....
I have an all original late 80s Blackfoot. Neat too see the changes Tamiya made throughout the years

The rear bumper is glued , I did a wheelie 😆😆 and probably the owner before me too , wheelie bar is a good idea 👍
They're such a tough looking truck, such a big difference between the two chassis.
