@@MikesRCWorld I ordered a 2016 re-make of the Blackfoot it arrives today. I bought a set of Monster Truck wheels and tires that fit the Blackfoot and they have the BKT white lettering on the tires. I will post on my community page tonight so you can see what I'm talking about
Great that pieces of Shodog's collection will be preserved and live on in the community. That is a beautiful truck. I've been following AMPRO Engineering's videos about Shodog and his collection and his son deciding which pieces to keep and which to rehome. Looking forward to see what else you add to your collection.
What an epic Blackfoot. I remember seeing pictures of it over the years and thinking that was the nicest one on the planet. Awesome that it found its way to you collection. -Looneybin
Epic is definitely a great way to describe it, I never thought it would end up with me, the circumstances are awful but I’m glad to be able to preserve it. How’s the 3rd gen Camaro coming a long ? Any new updates ?
Never seen a chromed out blackfoot chassis before..they both are immaculate ...I would never run pretty much any of the trucks you show...they just to damn pretty!!
Hey there Mike/IwantaBruiser. I just stumbled across your channel via the 2018 article in R/C Car Action. I was also a member of RCMT back in the day. I still have all of my trucks, including my 6x6 monster semi truck based on two Bull Heads named Chernabog. I also still have all of my Bruisers and Mountaineers too. I still even have my old ESP Clodzilla IV, which started out as my very first Clod Buster in 1987. I have not gotten rid of anything. I just put it all in storage since "real life" put R/C on the backburner over the last 20 or so years. Fast forward to today and my little boy is just getting into R/C so I have been going through all of my old R/C trucks and equipment and taking an inventory. I had kind of forgotten that many years ago I bought the ESP King Clod that appeared in their magazine ads and in ESP catalogs back in the day. That truck was my last R/C purchase before I took all of my R/C stuff and put it into storage. I am in the process of finishing the upgrades to the ESP King Clod that I started after I first bought it (currently it looks exactly like it did in the ESP catalogs, complete with the quad shocks and Sees wheels) and in my search for parts, I stumbled across your name and channel. I'm mainly swapping out the stock Tamiya gearcases, axle tubes, and ladder bars with JPS ones from back in the day that I also had in storage. I remember the name Shodog from RCMT too. I did not know that he had had passed away but it is absolutely fantastic that you have his gorgeous Blackfoot in your collection now and that you will cherish it. I also would never ever operate it because of how valuable it is. It's nice to see that Tecnacraft wheels are finally getting the praise that they deserved. I have lusted after their Clod Buster wheels ever since I saw their ads in R/C Car Action back in the day. I could never afford them back then and now it seems that they are as rare as hen's teeth. I remember talking about Tecnacraft on RCMT and most people had never heard of the company. The Tamiya Blackfoot was my first R/C monster truck but I sold it after about a year to fund my first Clod Buster purchase in 1987. I remember the days when all of those parts on your's and Shodog's Blackfeet were commonly available at my local hobby shop. Those were the days! Just curious, is there an R/C monster truck message board that is like RCMT? I was not aware that RCMT disappeared until just a few days ago when I started to look for parts for the King Clod. I do not know what happened to it but it was a very happening place back in the early 2000s when I was on there daily. Thank you for the video and for creating your channel. I am binge watching all of your old videos now that my Clod Busters are slowly coming back to life.

I don’t disagree, a radio control model is meant to be run…however, with running these particular trucks comes a risk… doesn’t take a abuse for a small pebble to get sucked into the one of the Tecnacraft wheels and bounce around the barrel and wreck the aluminum.
