2 months ago I dug up my old clod Buster out of the basement it's been down there for 18 years I totally disassembled it and started from scratch I bought a ton of upgraded aluminum parts and just got mine all back together I'm pretty excited about it it looks really good I think
Congratulations on the new addition! That is a gorgeous Clod Buster and what a great deal. That was so nice of the former owner to keep his word and honor the original, agreed-to price. Just when I think that people do not keep their word any more, along comes a story like this to restore my faith in humanity. After finishing up on the ESP King Clod, I am currently working on another truck. (I actually just got a set of new JPS Deluxe Star wheels for the King Clod.) This time I am building up a Bull Head for a change of pace. I was pricing up some aluminum gearcases and axle tubes and, for the first time, I was looking into brands other than JPS. (Yeah, I go back a ways in my Clod Buster obsession.) I looked into Hesse Machine for the first time but their parts were a little bit out of my budget, plus they seemed to be made in occasional batches or made to order. Their website always shows out of stock on the axle tubes and steering knuckles. After dealing with JPS and their poor business practices back in the day, there just was no way that I wanted to risk it again with Hesse Machine. Thus, I went with Hot Racing aluminum gearcases and axle tubes for my Bull Head project. They were readily available and not too expensive second hand compared to Hesse Machine parts. You got a killer deal on your latest Clod Buster, especially considering that it has Hesse Machine parts on it. As far as I know, those parts might not even be available any more. Congrats again and I can't wait to see this Clod Buster when it is all done!
Reliable machinist are hard to come by! The hesses stuff is nice. You’re best bet is to contact him directly as he can’t keep up with the updating the site. I’m stoked to hear you are are building, the hot racing stuff is nice too and I use it as well.
That’s a bad ass clod. Absolutely love the bow tie bumper.. my clods are mostly stock but if I had the money, this would be the way I’d build it.. I dig the flame job too.
I got that body out of Canada off one of the Facebook groups. Scott has a ton of stuff, he lives near me an i gave him that body for some vintage parts. Hes got some really nice stuff in person. I bought the body at the time for $120. Glad you have it now

I have a vintage Clod but its got the grille with no logo at all.. its the same but without the bowtie.. Also have a "newer" one with the big stupid 4x4x4 on it.... what were they thinking 😂
Scott has built some of the most beautiful Clodbusters, and this is one of his best I think. You are lucky to have added it to your collection.
Awesome club Buster buddy

Appreciate the information !
Awesome. The wheels and tires are bad ass
Wheels and tires choice can sometimes really make or break the truck 😎
Awesome clod!! to nice for me , i would definetly run it!
It may get run, just not beat haha
Nice shelf queen
Indeed it is
Love all of you video
Appreciate the support !
Wow such a nice clod! Can you tell something more about the car (blackfoot?) sitting next to it? What has been done to it?
It’s a vintage Blackfoot with a chrome chassis, Trinity shocks, sees wheels, with an ultrahive painted body. I’ll have a video on it eventually
I'm working on a one off clodbuster with a 74 ford f150 hardbody with a full interior and eingen bay
Now that’s sounds like an awesome build 😎

Tamiya lost the licensing to use the Chevrolet “bow tie” and if I had to guess was further forced to change the grill even more to the 4x4x4 one
@@MikesRCWorld yes but it just made it so toy like.. they should hace stuck with plain one in the end.
@@McRcFly couldn’t agree more
Nobody can get them or anything because YOU HAVE them😤🤷🏼🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gotta collect them all !!
I don't have anything that nice but I do have 4 or 5 bowties that it's time to get rid of.
The grill and tailgate fetches some coin all by itself so you’ll do well with complete trucks
Got any Hesse front axles for sale?
Sorry no spare hesse stuff, his stuff is hard to come by as it sells out quickly
My quetion is when you going sell it to me..😂..wats your price?
Thats one sick clod my friend...
Thanks! And thanks for watching
Damn das a fuckn steal!!!..I'll buy it from you for $800😅
