Thanks for the video. Always wanted to see how the box tires would work with the orv chassis. This pushed me into trying it out and it made me enjoy my Blackfoot even more :)
I put 2 tire foams in each tire and put them on sees vintage alloy wheels. The foam really made the difference when running on a heavier Blackfoot and helped with ballooning on a brushless motor. Check my channel out to see how far a Blackfoot can be pushed :) I have to update it though now that I run the lunchbox tires. Got mine up to 40 mph on a 2s today for the first time thanks to the box tires!
Honestly, I never had much trouble with the stick tires. Yes with the lunch box tires it may handle I bit better, but to me even with the stick tires it was still fun especially on dirt hills. My truck has never roller very much on dirt. I don’t recall having mine rolled a lot on the pavement either, but then again that was 30 yrs so yes, I might have forgot.😂. To me, I love the look of those tires, but you are right, the compound is very hard. Great video!

love the decals on the truck man how did you get those ? Are they from MCI ? and is there any special way to order them from there if they are are i know there a check box for gloss color which is 50% more cost is that what you did to get that color scheme ??? cheers man 🙂
Yes they are MCI :) You can pick the colors though you wont know exactly what itll look like until you receive them bc they don't have any previews for the color selections

I’ve just put these on my King Blackfoot and they look and drive great!! Only thing is the sidewalls rub on the front shocks on lock, did you space yours out?

@@chibiskyrc I did like what you did and I had to buy 6 sets of these tiyet of these tires and the trucks run a 100% better thank you very much it's very much for the info I keep the other tires for when I'm going in dirt and down at the beach and stuff These tires I keep for for the road only the it's only the trucks run real good I good I need tires thank you again

@@martinneps9387 the pink wheels are the yellow Blackfoot wheels painted pink. The Blackfoot and the Monster Beetle are the exact same truck so 99% of the parts are the same

I did the same with a set of Mauri Big Bear tires back in the day! They are almost as big as the Clodbuster tires and worked great.

I have a stock blackfoot well all but the speed control an the Radieo. Have had it for a good 20 years. An it still looks petty good.

The decals are from MCI Racing in Canada! The color scheme is custom though and it's been so long I don't remember what colors exactly they were.

No I didn't glue these tires. You should glue them though at least in the rear

The gold rims are identical to the pink ones in the video. They're just different colors
