Hi Capt, that's a beautiful red grouper; perfect eating size!.... I love when it rains when I'm around salt water. It gives the boat a free distilled-water washdown! ☺ And it cools the air down some. When in the Abaco's many years ago I was on the flybridge of my friends boat, in a massive rain storm. All I had on was a bathing suit and T-shirt, soaked to the bone and freezing cold! The rain stopped 30 minutes later, the sun came back out, and we were melting hot and humid... that's the Bahamas!

There are no better waters and fishing than my Bahamian waters! We have fish dying of old age! I love your setup and it is so efficient! Great job buddy! But why only one hook for your drop drop. At least do 4 to 5 hooks and you will get more fish! Keep up the great work.

And I only use one hook because of the sharks 🦈, I need to be fast to bring the fish to the boat and 2 fish or 4 will make it hard to bring them up fast cap. I'm sure you have lots of memories, if you like to share some good fishing numbers with me I would love to try them cap.

Hi, think you have the perfect boat for you. I envey you getting 3 miles per gallon with your outboard. I like the shower and galley on my boat but hate its IO can burn 20 gallons an hour when up on a plane. Great fishing my friend.

This is why I’d never get a center console over a pilot house or even a small cuddy cabin. If not rain, then you have the heat and sun beating down on you. It just doesn’t make sense to me to buy an expensive boat that can’t be used in non perfect weather.
@@cheapme1850 well technically there ain't no perfect boat but the heat we deal with down here and the storms grow out of nothing so you'll never know what you'll get. Center console are nice to fish out of but your definitely exposed to everything. I fish a lot of backwater holes so flat bottom and shallow runners are more practical

QUESTION: As sleek as boats are, why is the gas mileage so horrible (3 mpg) on most boats?
great question that i have ask my self cap. well the most small outboards only have 1 speed transmission because you cant because ot the drag of the haul on the water , trust me i had to do research on this too so most boats with 2 engins do about 1.5 MPG so my boat doing 3.MPG is a miracle , lol, thanks for watching cap.

On a side note: from watching another channel (key west waterman) maybe "braining" (ethical knife point behind the eye) and "bleeding" your catch will male the fish/meat "keep" better. Not sure, i dont eat it. Just didnt know if ya ever thought about braining and bleeding your catch.

Have you ever tried slow jigging where you fish in the Bahamas? I watch several Australian fishermen do that on the Great Barrier Reef which I imagine would be similar structurally to where you fish.

They make a little tent that clips on to generators to keep most of the rain off it.

I also like pilot house especially in South Florida when it gets really hot, buggy or rainy outside, you can simply chill inside and still enjoy being on the water. I have my eye on Solara S-250 C .
