    To me, this is the best explanation on RUclips for setting up an IC-7300. Lots of info for one to go through to get it right. Thanks for your time, effort and sharing of this video.

      Oh good, I'm glad you found it helpful. I have another video that might be helpful as well, about general software setup for digital modes and logging: ruclips.net/video/F6d_LbvioMA/видео.html

      @@SWRadioConcepts I will look for the other info you mention. I have lots to do before I get into other aspects of setting up the radio. The speaker and mic settings (CODEC) you gave were most helpful. I stopped there for the evening since I have been trying to figure things out for half the day.

      @@SWRadioConceptsBefore I go any further and to determine if there are other problems, when I press the “Test PTT” button, should it turn green or does it remain red in color. Seems to me it should turn green if all is correct.

      @@jarmstrong2843 I don't have my system setup at the moment as it's all boxed up pending a move back to California from Texas late June, however, if I remember correctly - it should turn green.

    Thanks for the information on the virtual serial driver emulator. I am going to see how that is going to effect my setups.

    how much power do you transmit?

    • @SWRadioConcepts
      @SWRadioConcepts  3 года назад

      usually about 20-25 Watts from the IC-7300 into my MFJ amp, which ups it too roughly 100-150 watts;
