I am 6 feet 2 tall, with a bust around 125cm, around 58 inches. I tailor made my Hanfu, the Hanfu hat , Hanfu male skirt 马面裙 and Hanfu shoes, because my shoe size is UK11 minimum but a bit tight, UK12 is just nice.
You can also tailor made your Hanfu online at Taobao, But If you don't know Chinese, it will be tricky and difficult.
You can even tailor made or customised the female head/hair accessories.

Which Chinese dynasty costume you wanna try on? There are alot. Typically the most famous one is Tang Dynasty costume

Yes, hanfu traditional clothings has influenced many neighboring Asian countries most especially Korea and Japan. Then Korean and Japan also made their own style based on the influence from the time period they came in contact w China.

Hanfu purchaser and wearer from Canada, got my first set from Taobao earlier this year! 重回汉唐 is probably one of the bigger chain stores, good selection of sizes and styles, but the hardcore aficionados will point out areas where there are historical inaccuracies, and the cost is pretty high for the clothing quality. 洞庭汉风 is good for men, they do sized clothing as well as custom, but the price for quality is also a bit high. Smaller boutiques like 淮边筱竹 represent a real step up in quality, they use lots of natural fibres, and the clothing is relatively cheap for a higher quality feel. The highest quality that I've purchased so far (and by no means the best, I just haven't the guts to spend more yet), is 玖棠桃源, this is one further step up in quality, and are partially custom made, which would be good for larger sizes. All on Taobao, and shipping was pretty easy! Have fun!

In Ancient China, common umbrella 雨伞☂️ was for everybody daily use. Parasol 阳伞 was usually more fancy and expensive. Only the rich and noble aristocrat ladies or royal family members used parasol.

为什么祖祖辈辈大家都觉得汉服离我们特别遥远呢，我猜，可能和新中国成立前，我们汉人已经被清朝统治了两百多年有很大的关系，草原清军入关后，汉人在满人的统治下其实过得并不是很好，种族歧视现象也很严重，历史上最残酷的莫过于清初的削发断头政令，服饰也有很大的改变，无法回首那段男人剃光头留辫子的时期。不过还好，很高兴我们汉族可以复兴富强，寻回了属于自己的那部分服饰文化，同时也希望民族融合，和睦相处。
漢服的展示設計應該來自古畫雕刻或文字敘述，顯示出來的多是王宮貴族裝扮，平民百姓的比較少（要勞作嘛！裝扮應該簡單樸實）我的看法。

You can shop Taobao to get a set of Ming Dynasty Hanfu (usually 3~4 pieces) for your mom. The middle-aged woman looks good in Ming Dynasty Hanfu.
说真的如果真的要 穿的很汉服 最重要的特征就是 绣花刺绣 和 丝绸布料 不可少 这些都是 体现汉服 在每个朝代不变的 元素汉服元素必须要有的 绣花刺绣丝绸 图案设计与风格就看朝代当时的时尚了

Hanfu is not expensive. It depends on the quality of the fabric. You can also buy it for a few dozen yuan, which is equivalent to about 10 US dollars. Of course, if the fabric is expensive, or designed by a famous company, it will be very expensive

清朝 Ching Dynasty is not Han tribes governing. It is Manchurian governing so the costume by that period should not be considered as Han clothes I guess
And 元朝 Yuan dynasty also not Han tribes governing and their costumes should not be considered as Han clothes though.

im for the hanfu movement, however, i just wished they'd stop wearing minister and emperor styled ones.. It's over extravagant for daily use.
i've seen some modernized hanfu where the clothing is shortened, and less baggy.

以前觉得穿汉服仙气飘飘很好看。结果有几次地铁上看到丑男穿汉服之后突然觉得汉服光环不再加成不再。就是另一种制式的衣服而已。看看那个发言的男的没。汉服也救不了他。
我感觉穿出去 买东西或者当生活服饰真的有点浮夸 不知道其他人怎么想
