One of the most impressive mashups/medleys ive heard. Its so original and faithful at the same time. the arrangement seems effortless its so perfect. And the percussion... perfection!
What beautifully superb masterpiece! So full of energy and vibrant symphony that takes you to an emotional heroic journey - It’s exactly how the game was like, sending you into a long trip; bizarre, crazy colossal rollercoaster, and hurl you into a storm of epic mess, one after another - Only to find yourself awkwardly passed out on the same beach right from the very beginning, as the main character memory's of the whole journey fizzle out like a naptime dream in the end, and me sitting right in front of the screen, wondering forever if there will ever be a wedding between him and the princess.
The WDR did that!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? That's a German Public Radio "Westdeutscher Rundfunk" - I am astonished their orchester played the OST of a japanese game.
Always lifts my mood. I play this in the morning while getting ready for work. Check out video recording - some unbelievable emotion from the musicians.

16:04 it's still a genius idea to merge Chrono Trigger and Time's Scar even a decade later.
I believe this was Roger Wanamo’s first vg arrangement and he knocked it out of the park
I believe I remember reading on another video Scars of Time became one of his favorite pieces after arranging the medley.
