  • HI again, and welcome back. This week we're going to improve support to the shoulder and dynamic control to the shoulder blade, (the scapula), and restore our ability to internally and externally rotate.
    What we're looking for here is better mobility and control of the both the shoulder blade and the shoulder complex as a whole, and we want to do that with adequate dissociation right to left. We need movement and stability, and we need both sides to be able to do that independently. Remember, the scapula has direct attachments to the ribcage and spine as well as the neck and head, so a loss of support and control here can affect the entire region, cause compensation in several areas, and lead to many common problems.
