I feel like Rougarou gets better every time I ride it with the first half being smooth and forceful. The second half is bad, but the ride is good overall. Mantis was way better though.
I dont like Rougarou at all, I always get a headache and the ride operators always staple me. I dont usually mind getting stapled but I wear a belt so it hurts really bad. That's just my opinion, some of my friends really like it!
Speaking of intensity on Gatekeeper, I recently sat back-right and was surprised in the force and that I actually felt airtime on the hill after the midcourse.
I love invert coasters. I enjoy the experience of sitting underneath the track but, it will be miserable if it’s a Vekoma SLC unless it’s fully reprofiled and retracked. My favorite invert is great bear at Hershey park followed by Batman the ride clones. However I never had a chance to ride other B&M inverts yet but, really want to ride banshee. I really want to go on a B&M flyer even though my home park does not have it. Whenever I go to a park that has one, I’m going to b line to that ride such as Manta at SWF.
Did they ever move the rubbish bins after the turn around on Blue Streak. The return trip on that was always awful. You’d go through this area where it smelled like a vomit pit. People say Gatekeeper is forceless? It is the ONLY coaster in the park that reminds me I have a hernia, it pulls when I ride that, no matter where I sat. No other ride does this…not Dragster, not Wicked Twister when it was there
I rode Magnum in the magic seat this summer and literally was yelling "OWWW"on every triangle hill. Love it. I find Magnum better than millennium personally
I might have an unpopular opinion but I didn't find maverick that good. Didn't even make my top 5 at the park with no dragster or wicked twister available..
My home park and its a wonderful place. I usually park in the back and hit up Magnum right away, then move back to Maverick and Steve. To this day I am astounded by that ride duration on Steve. If only we could get an Intamin prefab of that length.,
Did you just say that your first visit to CP was after the Dragster accident? That was less than 13 months ago! Or what was wrong with Dragster during your earlier visits?
My CP visits- 2007- I was barely brave enough to ride millie, dragster was a no go 2016- Was with my ex who hated coasters, so dragster was a no go 2022- 10 visits so far but obviously dragster is a no go
Being old enough to have ridden both Mean Streak, and Mantis... Yeah I'd agree with most of these. You nailed it on the midway comment of Corkscrew. The ride is blah but the interaction with the midway can't go away. If only disaster transport was still there! Haha.
@@StationWait I totally understand. Since I was only at Cedar Point one day I bought a fast pass plus. I am not going to lie it is annoying how less efficient the fast pass is at cedar point compared to kings island. At kings island every fast pass line drops you right off at the station. At cedar point even if you have a fast pass it is still atleast a 20 min wait for Steve, Milli, Rougarou, Gatekeeper (I understand this one though) and I think a few others. There I vented. Lol
Ultimately, I assume they know wayyyy more than we do and they are making the best decisions whether we can see it or not. It’s just hard to accept some of the decisions sometimes
I kinda wish people would respect the park enough to start adding Pipe Scream to their lists in the future. You’re not cool for saying it’s not a coaster.
Imo raptor is worse than Rougarou. The first drop was fun in the back right seat, but there was a lot of headbanging and too much straight track/meandering around.
Honestly, controversial opinion here but I have rougarou at number 5 on my list at cedar point. I love the layout and don't mind the roughness, and I find it to be a fun, aggressive ride that never really seems to slow down.
I felt this at first, but as I moved around the train I learned where to sit to avoid it as much as possible. Try row 17 or 18 for the “smoothest” experience
I had to click off the video after seeing how you placed iron dragon above rougarou. I have no idea what crack you’re smoking but it’s not the good shit
Pretty sure I got the worst ride on Raptor in the world, so much that I call it (C)Raptor and people hate me for it. (3rd row, after everything opened back up from the Sandusky showers.) It gave me far more headbanging than any Vekoma SLC I've been on. (only 3- one shitty one, one that's meh, and one I actually like and I'd like to think most of us know which one I mean.) Had the completely opposite experience with Alpengeist at BGW, by far the best invert so far- and I have yet to experience Montu. SteVe was kind of a letdown, I do not hate it of course, but I think my expectations were a little too high. It's very smooth and the inversions are alot of fun, I'll give it that, but the intensity definitely lacked. Twisted Timbers but bigger and El Toro with inversions was what I pictured. Top Thrill Dragster is easily the best coaster, in my opinion, with Maverick being a close 2nd, and MF being 3rd. This as well as my overall top 3 are all Intamins, so that explains that. I am now going to barricade myself in a cubicle made of titanium because I'm sure Raptor fans will try to kill me with torches and pitchforks.
I feel like Rougarou gets better every time I ride it with the first half being smooth and forceful. The second half is bad, but the ride is good overall. Mantis was way better though.
No. Just stop. Mantis was trash. Rougarou is trash. They're both trash.

@@_ethanol_ how do you get stapled with an OTS????
Every time I ride rougarou I get some some of the worst headbanging throughout the whole layout

Hoping Millennium Force gets a high ranking. I find it underrated.
Me too
Was it high enough for you
@@StationWait ye I put it at 3 too
@@StationWait I would go #2 but I am crazy and I’m actually stoked that it got as I high as it did.
Underrated? I have it like 5th in the park as after the first drop it does nothing. I find it stupidly overrated
I was just there yesterday

Steel Vengance is the best at Cedar Point.
Ur actually wrong step aside for the og hybrid cedar creek
@@inthelaunch9319 the og hybrid is cyclone at luna park lol
I hope corkscrew isn’t removed before I go to cedar point because regardless of what I’ve heard I still want to check it out

Same !
i have yet to experience SteVe, but i can 100% stand behind the rest of the ratings
I might have an unpopular opinion but I didn't find maverick that good. Didn't even make my top 5 at the park with no dragster or wicked twister available..
The fact you put rougarou so low I took personal
Best floorless coaster in all of the US

I rode mean streak in 2016 and man steel vengeance is way better lol. I chose wild cat over mantis in 07 and I’m glad tbh
Only thing I’d really change is put Millie at 5th honestly thinks it’s criminally overrated
Great video! I honestly really enjoyed Rougarou in the front row. I also think Milli is dropping on my list. Great video
Thank you! I keep meaning to catch rougarou in the front row, I just can’t bring myself to wait for that ride rn

It's not a coaster. I'm not trying to be cool. If you insist I add it, its right above cedar creek mine ride
"aged like warm yogurt". LOL
Yeah the laugh after that is because I wrote the script 3 hours earlier and forgot about that little joke
I have not been to cedar point, but I'm planning to go there, this is an interesting ranking especially gemini > raptor
He admits to bias of not liking inverts. Gemini is definitely not better than Raptor in my book.

I headbang more on rougarou personally, but if you experience raptor as more head banging then I get ranking it lower
Cedar creek mine ride is actually fun!! Those transitions while being a little janky is kind of what makes it great!
Those janky transitions wreck my back
Having the lap bar be the same for each row of the car is just... Weird

Magnum is way too high I have it at 10th if you include dragster
I think you just discovered how opinions work
magnum is so underated wdym
@@xenify_ Magnum is the most overrated ride I have ever ridden.
Have to disagree with magnum. The ride is awful, painful and janky to the point of being unenjoyable.
Mmmmm....warm yogurt!
mine ride is so freaking good bruh
Hard disagree, but to each their own
Raptor is easily 5th
Millie is 3rd best and very underrated
Overrated, but still third best
Steve 1 no goddamn debate
