Yep. I use Scaler 2 on pretty much every project. It is literally the most important plugin that I own (and I own a lot of plugins). Keep up the awesome work Plugin Boutique!
Love, love, love Scaler. Would love it even more if you guys would consider a standalone version cos, much as I love the program, I don't always want to fire up my DAW to access it. Sometimes, noodling for a little bit is more fun. 😉
Get a light weight HOST program, like Cantabile Light (FREE) to run it in. You can then save Scaler chord progressions and have several to noodle with... loads fast and light, yet still gives you some abilities like EFX VSTs and a metronome. The $70 version lets you record, play backing tracks and more...

Scaler is a complete home run by you guys. You should do an ARP / SEQUENCER:
Take the BEST of everything OUT THERE, and put it all together in one tool with a clever interface. I'm talking about what SEQui2R EX does, what Reason Sequencer does, what Arpology does: just BUILD A MASTER LIST OF FEATURES from the ENTIRE MARKET and put it all in one tool and include a note generator and scale filtering...
Would be a HOT PRODUCT like Scaler for sure. Call it the Lord Of The Rings Arp: the one ARP TO RULE THEM ALL!

I use Scaler not to do melodies for me, but rather to "spellcheck" the ideas from my head. I get really cool musical ideas, I put it in my DAW, and use Scaler to see if I need to change a chord or move a note up or down in conjunction with other melodies.

Routing bass out to EZ bass, with other instruments is fantastic. If you go on like this you’ll have Band in a Box v2. How could you automate switching the motifs? Ideally each chord should be able to have its own performance settings - is that possible?

just a problem with this version that many users reports(just see on her forum): some random notes stays played after release, so like no midi "note off". The daws tested are cubase, studio one, fl studio etc.. so downgrade is the only solution...
A few hanging notes issues on certain setups. Look for 2.2.1 for getting rid of the rest of the hanging notes issues. Managed to get rid of most in 2.2.
updated, and now it behaves badly in FL, notes are not cutting themselves thus leaving you with nothing but noise after a few bars

Can you feed it midi that it can use to determine the melodies, or does it have to be from the chords within scaler. If that makes sense
