Fun fact: Huge Power doubles a Pokémon’s actual stats, not its base stats. So an Absol with Huge Power essentially has a base attack stat of about 309, not 260.
@@superzockertvyt9630 Yeah, but the only method I could find to calculate base stats was to get a 0 IV, 0 EV, Neutral nature Pokémon, take 5 from the number and then divide it by 2. Absol with a 0 IV, EV and neutral nature has 265 attack, and if you take 5 and divide by 2, you get the 130, but if we're measuring the possible 788 attack it could have, the method doesn't work. I'd probably have to figure out how exactly EVs, IVs and natures influence the base stat, then get what a 0 IV, EV, neutral nature version of a 788 attack mon would be like and only then I could calculate the base stat. That felt like I was overcomplicating the problem, though, so I wanted to know if there was an easier method
It's easier to demonstrate it visually for those who don't play competitively to double the base stat, rather than explain it. It also would have killed the pacing for that part of the video.

Would be interesting to see one of these runs where the youtubers choose which gym leader they want their pokemon to go up against. So you'd get 6 new pokemon after every gym that would have to last you until the next gym (and 6 starters immediately), and if you lost any along the way you'd just have to challenge the gym with 1 less pokemon. And for the elite four you'd choose among the pokemon you'd gotten previously, and try to make the best possible team. This would also give the youtubers a bigger chance to make OP mons, or fun useless mons, because they'd know when you'd use it, and which level of broken to put the pokemon at.

Since it's my favorite pokemon, and making a meme is too easy, I would have sent a Gardevoir with the ability 'Sheer Force' and holding a Life Orb, and the moves Psychic, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse, and Shell Smash. Sheer Force negates the secondary effects of your moves to boosts the damage, and also stops the recoil from Life Orb while still getting the boost. This should make Psychic more powerful than a Hyper Beam. For a less-standard meme setup, Cute Charm ability, holding a Mind Plate, and has the moves: Lovely Kiss, Milk Drink, Dream Eater, Judgement.
i just love these egglocks, always fun to see what people come up with. Also my suggestion for your next Egglocke is Snorlax with Insomnia for it's ability and the Moves Spore, Wake-up-Slap, Dream Eater and Slack Off.
Zubat is probably my favourite pokemon, so for an annoying build I'll say: Zubat: Nature: Timid Held: King's Rock/Leftovers Ability: Serene Grace Attacks: Confuse Ray Air Slash Thunder Wave/Body Slam? Roost?
I think a fun thing to do alongside these challenges would be to share the eggs somehow but unlabelled or with random numbers for labels so that viewers can give it a go for themselves with their own blind run with the same Pokemon
I'd send you a beast. Pokemon- entei Ability- wonderguard Nature- hasty Item- scope lens Moves- burn up, aromatherapy, v create, focus punch Literally can't lose after getting off burn up
My suggestion is a shiny Wigglytuff based off of the Mystery Dungeon character with: Ability: Super Luck (or Punk Rock if it's a gen 8 nuzlocke) - either raises the critical hit ratio or powers up sound-based moves Hyper Voice - self explanatory, arguably Wigglytuff's signature move Roar of Time - Primal Dialga reference + funny Judgement - powerful normal type special attack + Guildmaster Wigglytuff has more HP than Primal Dialga Tail Glow - huge win, DRASTICALLY raises Special Attack (three stages!!!!) Held Item: Wise Glasses ...Basically, I'd love to see a Wigglytuff that actually embodies the sheer threat of the Guildmaster
For your next Egglocke, I'd go for a Marvel Scale + Flame Orb Chansey with Counter and Protect as its signature moves (you can do anything with the last two moves) :) Good luck for your future endeavors o7
I'd say Serene Grace Electivire holding an Assault Vest. Maybe have him be a mixed attacker, so I'd run Wild Charge, Ice Punch, Flamethrower, and Ancient Power.
if its gen 8 or above, shuckle with huge power and body press cause apparently those stack. adamant nature, with leftovers, and defense curl/rest/recover. Named Steel chair. If not enter Fear 2 a ratitcate, with focus sash, extreme speed, endeavor, aqua jet, encore. With a mischevious nature. The upgrade to a strat no one wanted.
If I could give a pokemon for a run like this (assuming it would be gen five) I'd pick an eviolite wonder skin Servine with dragon tail. Total give and take theme, mostly take though.
Gonna be hopeful and assume that I'm not too late to post a kit... and also that the viewer-submission run isn't just a way to farm comments for the algorithm....... Prankster Slaking, holding Leftovers, with Work Up, Wish, Baton Pass, and Spore. The combo's pretty simple. Step 1: Put 'em to sleep with Spore. Step 2: Spam Work Up to your heart's content to raise Attack and Sp.Atk. Step 3: Use Wish if desired. Step 4: Baton Pass to whoever you wanna sweep with. Starting in Gen 5, Wish's healing is based on the user's maximum HP rather than the max HP of the Pokemon being healed, hence why the move is being used on a Pokemon with really high base HP. I picked Slaking because it's a bit more balanced defensively than Pokemon with higher HP like Blissey, because a Slaking without Truant is never NOT interesting, and because I think having its incredible physical-sweeper stats be rendered completely redundant by its nonoffensive moveset and an ability that makes it go first regardless of its speed is very funny. If that's a bit too overwhelmingly strong, the Leftovers could be replaced by a one-use item like a Sitrus or Chople Berry, or maybe Quick Claw (the only thing even more hilariously redundant on a Prankster Pokemon); or Spore could be replaced with a weaker move - Sleep Powder or Hypnosis to keep the combo but make it riskier with a chance of missing with the sleep infliction, a weak or gimmicky attacking move (bonus points if it doesn't let Slaking use its high attacking stats at all, e.g. Dragon Rage), or a status-healing move like Heal Bell or Aromatherapy to stick with the "support" theme. Of these options, I think Dragon Rage is the funniest.
If I were to be a part of one of these, I would give a huge power attack form deoxys with a life or and have the moves: swords dance dragon ascent, calm mind, and hyper beam. The life orb could be switched for a quick claw or assault vest (which would require both swords dance and calm mind to be removed) but I think that it would work really well either way.
I personally would send over a Mightyena with Strong Jaw, holding a Choice Scarf with Crunch, Psyfangs, Ice Fang and Parting Shot. (Or if in an earlier generation, Fire Fang and Thunder Fang instead of Psyfangs and Parting Shot.)
Might be spamming, but I'm excited for my abomination Entei with wonderguard and hasty, holding scope lens, using burn up, aromatherapy, v create, and focus punch Literally can't lose after getting off burn up
Absolutely loving your content as of late, the true crime is that RUclips hasn't given me notifications for your channel! My Pokemon suggestion is Weavile with Ice Punch, Adaptability, and a Focus Band. Better hit that 10% chance if you blunder with her 🗿
A funny Easy Win on a timer pokemon: Arcanine Wonder Guard Flame Orb Burn Up (using this loses fire typing and lets flame orb trigger) Facade (Benefits from being burned) Extreme Speed (clean up stragglers) Payday (profit) Wonder Guard should make it immune to *everything* when it loses fire type, but flame orb puts it on a timer before it dies so ur always racing against the clock with it. It’s kinda just broken but still has a funny limit on it imo?
Well, given I don't know what generation the next egglocke will be in, I'll suggest..... A mothim with nasty plot and speed boost, holding a focus sash. Hope he's picking randomly because I feel like this wouldn't be taken deliberately lol.
Egglocke mon design goals, create a bulky pivot, with reliable recovery, capable of putting out some chip damage when needed, but not a sweeper. 110/110/110 bulk will let REGIGIGAS survive just about anything REGENERATOR so it can come in multiple times per fight with a supportive moveset of WISH DETECT TOXIC AROMATHERAPY unfortunately this set can't hurt POISON or STEEL types, that can be fixed by giving it the item ASSAULT VEST letting it deal typeless damage which nothing resists, before healing off the recoil by switching out.
If you’re doing a gen where it’s possible, do moody shedinja with recycle focus sash. Spam recycle until you accumulate a ton of boosts, then sweep with stored power.
The pokemon I would submit would only work in Sun/Moon and later: Kantonian Rapidash Ability: Wonder Guard Held Item: Focus Sash Move 1: Burn Up Move 2: Shadow Ball Move 3: Flamethrower Move 4: Ice Beam
I would give you a Shroomish with the Prankster ability and the moves Spore, Substitude, Leech Seed and Giga Drain, also a Eviolite would look good on it if you don't mind, it also gets a sweet modest nature
I hope nothing bad happens to that Furret. My first ever shiny was a Sentret back in gold and silver. I actually caught it without realizing it. I didn't really know it was Shiny until I checked it in Pokemon Stadium. I feel sad that my first shiny is lost to time now.
Pokemon for next egglock: Togepi with Power Construct and V-Create holding an Eviolite. He is an anime protagonist who powers up at low HP into a god-dragon person
Here's a Dragon Slayer for you Pokemon: Excadrill (if it's unavaliable use Tyranitar) Ability: Multitype Held Item: Icicle plate Signature Move: Icicle Crash
If you're taking viewer suggested pokemon next, my killer pokemon idea Pokemon: Shedinja Ability: Compound Eyes Item: Wide Lens Moves: Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold If this ends up being used, have fun with your portable casino
It wouldn’t work for this generation, but I would send you a Shedinja. It’s moves would be Extreme Speed, First Impression, Sucker Punch, and Shadow Sneak. It’s ability would be Huge Power, and it’s item would be a Choice Band. It would have as much Attack EVs/IVs as possible. The plan is simple, one foe, one blow.
Depends on the Generation. Anything 6 onward, I want someone to decimate the region with a Parental Bond Regigigas with Ominous Wind for signature move and King' Rock held item. Gen 4 and 5, swap Parental Bond for Serene Grace
Hope it's not too late to submit a pokemon egg: Pokemon: Emolga Ability: Sturdy Nature: Jolly Held Item: Bright Powder Moveset: Minimize (signature move), Thunder Wave, Baton Pass, Flail There is a story behind this one! Going back to the very first competitive pokemon competition I ever entered, the Pikachu Cup. Obviously, I didn't use a modded Emolga in the competition; no worries. But the story is that I set my Emolga up so that it was a support 'mon and thus only had one attacking move. Since my hodgepodge team managed to climb rather high in the ladder, I started being matched against really difficult teams using mons like Rotom-Wash (I didn't much care for that pokemon back then, so I chose not to use it) and the rest of the "high elo cookie cutter" type teams. This one person I was matched against, the battle seemed to be all over for me. We were both down to our last pokemon; them with Rotom-Wash at nearly full health and me with my Emolga sporting a mere 13 HP left. A single hit would do me in. Their washing machine was packing Hydro Pump, Will-o-Wisp, some other support move, and an electric move (which was useless against my Emolga due to Motor Drive ability). Each turn was a nail biter as they went on to miss three Hydro Pumps while I slowly chipped away at them. They tried to weave Will-o-Wisps in there (because one or two turns with that would take out my Emolga and win them the battle as well), but kept missing those. It felt like an eternity later when I finally did enough damage to take down that bulky beast and win the battle. All because those low accuracy moves were compounded with the Bright Powder.
Egg Idea - Sneasel. Jolly Nature. Ability - Filter Item - Eviolite (or the berry that weakens fighting moves if playing a game with no eviolite) Moves - Ice Shard Extreme Speed Sucker Punch Fake Out
Would love to see Volcorona or Scizor personally my fave mons and bug types are under appreciated! Though if you do a run in scarlet and violet Lokicks is by far my suggestion, mostly for how well animated it is!
Well it depends on the game, but let's see if you can use my favorite Pokemon in a future Egglocke: Namako (Pyukumuku) (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Filter EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD Careful Nature - Recover - Soak - Toxic - Crabhammer
For me I would do Charizard (Because Charmander is my favourite Pokémon) with Huge Power and the moves Dragon Dance, Thrash, Hyper Beam, and Flamethrower. Just to make it powerful!

Signature: Rage Fist
Pokemon 2: Shiny Ambipom
Ability: Huge Power
Held Item: Muscle Band
Moves: Flare Blitz, Drain Punch, Dizzy Punch, Swords Dance
Signature: Dizzy Punch
My submissions likely won't be used in an actual Egglocke, but nevertheless they were fun to make! I'd be honored to make an appearance in a future episode, but I enjoyed simply creating them as a concept. uwu
This was quite entertaining
Loved it ❤
Also the difference between Alpha’s run and Captain Kidd’s LOL
Very different 😂
Shiny Drifblim - Ability: Guts -Moves:
1:WilloWisp
2:Protect
3:judgement
4:
Item: Fire Orb
Zubat is probably my favourite pokemon, so for an annoying build I'll say:
Zubat:
Nature: Timid
Held: King's Rock/Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Attacks:
Confuse Ray
Air Slash
Thunder Wave/Body Slam?
Roost?
I think a fun thing to do alongside these challenges would be to share the eggs somehow but unlabelled or with random numbers for labels so that viewers can give it a go for themselves with their own blind run with the same Pokemon
I'd send you a beast.
Pokemon- entei
Ability- wonderguard
Nature- hasty
Item- scope lens
Moves- burn up, aromatherapy, v create, focus punch
Literally can't lose after getting off burn up
My suggestion is a shiny Wigglytuff based off of the Mystery Dungeon character with:
Ability: Super Luck (or Punk Rock if it's a gen 8 nuzlocke) - either raises the critical hit ratio or powers up sound-based moves
Hyper Voice - self explanatory, arguably Wigglytuff's signature move
Roar of Time - Primal Dialga reference + funny
Judgement - powerful normal type special attack + Guildmaster Wigglytuff has more HP than Primal Dialga
Tail Glow - huge win, DRASTICALLY raises Special Attack (three stages!!!!)
Held Item: Wise Glasses
...Basically, I'd love to see a Wigglytuff that actually embodies the sheer threat of the Guildmaster
For your next Egglocke, I'd go for a Marvel Scale + Flame Orb Chansey with Counter and Protect as its signature moves (you can do anything with the last two moves) :)
Good luck for your future endeavors o7
Let’s see:
I’ll suggest (Based on Generation)
Meinshao: Choice Specs, No Guard, High Jump Kick
or
Wobuffett: Mirror Coat, Mirror Shot, Mirror Move, Mirror Armor,
I'd say Serene Grace Electivire holding an Assault Vest.
My viewer suggestion for an egg
If Gen 4,
Phanpy
Item: passho berry (gen 4) lum berry (gen 3)
Ability: Wonder Guard
Moves:
- Defense Curl
- Rollout
- Ice Ball
If Gen 5+,
Sigilyph
Item: magnet
Ability: Speed Boost
Electro Ball
I personally would send over a Mightyena with Strong Jaw, holding a Choice Scarf with Crunch, Psyfangs, Ice Fang and Parting Shot.
(Or if in an earlier generation, Fire Fang and Thunder Fang instead of Psyfangs and Parting Shot.)
Might be spamming, but I'm excited for my abomination
Entei with wonderguard and hasty, holding scope lens, using burn up, aromatherapy, v create, and focus punch
Literally can't lose after getting off burn up
Absolutely loving your content as of late, the true crime is that RUclips hasn't given me notifications for your channel!
My Pokemon suggestion is Weavile with Ice Punch, Adaptability, and a Focus Band. Better hit that 10% chance if you blunder with her 🗿
Pure Power Empoleon holding a Life Orb with Triple Axel as it’s signature move.
A funny Easy Win on a timer pokemon:
Arcanine
Wonder Guard
Flame Orb
Burn Up (using this loses fire typing and lets flame orb trigger)
Facade (Benefits from being burned)
Extreme Speed (clean up stragglers)
Payday (profit)
Wonder Guard should make it immune to *everything* when it loses fire type, but flame orb puts it on a timer before it dies so ur always racing against the clock with it.
110/110/110 bulk will let
REGIGIGAS
survive just about anything
REGENERATOR
so it can come in multiple times per fight
with a supportive moveset of
WISH
DETECT
TOXIC
AROMATHERAPY
unfortunately this set can't hurt POISON or STEEL types, that can be fixed by giving it the item
ASSAULT VEST
letting it deal typeless damage which nothing resists, before healing off the recoil by switching out.
If you’re doing a gen where it’s possible, do moody shedinja with recycle focus sash. Spam recycle until you accumulate a ton of boosts, then sweep with stored power.
The pokemon I would submit would only work in Sun/Moon and later:
Kantonian Rapidash
Ability: Wonder Guard
Held Item: Focus Sash
Move 1: Burn Up
Move 2: Shadow Ball
Move 3: Flamethrower
Move 4: Ice Beam
I would give you a Shroomish with the Prankster ability and the moves Spore, Substitude, Leech Seed and Giga Drain, also a Eviolite would look good on it if you don't mind, it also gets a sweet modest nature
39:24 - “What did I say? What did I say!” - Braden
What a reference.
FURRET SWEEP!!!! (RIP though 💔)
3:13 i imagine the voice of whitebeard saying "THE ONE PIECEE, THE ONE PIECE IS REAAAAL" but with sunkern sweep
Nice video keep up the good work 👍👍👍
Here's a Dragon Slayer for you
Pokemon: Excadrill (if it's unavaliable use Tyranitar)
Ability: Multitype
Held Item: Icicle plate
Signature Move: Icicle Crash
Hear me out... Bellibolt with an airballoon and wonderguard ability. You can't go wrong.
If you're taking viewer suggested pokemon next, my killer pokemon idea
Pokemon: Shedinja
Ability: Compound Eyes
Item: Wide Lens
Moves: Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold
If this ends up being used, have fun with your portable casino
Would like to see this kind of nuzlocke with something like radical red, seems too OP for the vanilla game
It's a lot more challenging when the egg providers go a bit more troll mode like in Alpha's one
I would send a support Vigoroth for sure
My recommendation is a Sunkern with sturdy and a moveset of king’s shield, baneful bunker, spiky shield, and protect
Depends on the Generation. Anything 6 onward, I want someone to decimate the region with a Parental Bond Regigigas with Ominous Wind for signature move and King' Rock held item. Gen 4 and 5, swap Parental Bond for Serene Grace
First time I’m finding your videos/channel. Editing is hella nice. I’ll be back for more.
My random choice is magikarp with spacial rend, idk with lightning rod and eviolite. Just thinking of this at the top of my head
Hope it's not too late to submit a pokemon egg:
Pokemon: Emolga
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Jolly
Held Item: Bright Powder
Moveset: Minimize (signature move), Thunder Wave, Baton Pass, Flail
There is a story behind this one!
I want you to use a oshawott with the ability lighting rod and moves water spout, earth power, magma storm, aura sphere, and the item Eviolite
my suggestion is a seedot with sunny day, solar beam, shadow ball and synthesis. of course holding a quick claw cause you gotta get the sun up fast~
I would’ve sent u a bidoof with judgement and the ability wonder guard holding a destiny knot
Egg Idea -
Sneasel. Jolly Nature.
Ability - Filter
Item - Eviolite (or the berry that weakens fighting moves if playing a game with no eviolite)
Moves -
Ice Shard
Extreme Speed
Sucker Punch
Fake Out
Huge Power Banette with only priority moves. Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Mach Punch, and Ice Shard B)
I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see the Onix reference at the start of the video. One of the internet’s great moments
I would 100% send a tank of a carnavine
Would love to see Volcorona or Scizor personally my fave mons and bug types are under appreciated!
Though if you do a run in scarlet and violet Lokicks is by far my suggestion, mostly for how well animated it is!
I doubt it'll be in S/V. My guess is it's going to be Emerald or Platinum again.
I would probably send a shiny spheal with dragon dance dragon breath sheet cold and reflect its item is focus slash and ability is wonder guard
Well it depends on the game, but let's see if you can use my favorite Pokemon in a future Egglocke:
Namako (Pyukumuku) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Filter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Recover
- Soak
- Toxic
- Crabhammer
You should use a levitate air balloon tornadus, rookidee, or corvisquire because you need the triple ground immunity (signature move gravity)
basically ground immunity^3
Crobat (Huge Power)
Item: Leftovers/Black Sludge
Moveset: Cross Poison, Drain Punch, Aerial Ace, Earthquake
cross poison for stab + poison chance, drain punch for heath and rock/ice coverage, aerial ace for stab + evasion immune, and earthquake for electric coverage :D
Hear me out: an egglocke is a randomizer with extra steps
the editing in this one is top tier Kidd, what a great job. Keep it up!
Glad to see shedinja got at least one kill
Hi stephin
Definitely would send a Snorunt holding a silk scarf to Hopefully warm it's ice body during Blizzards, icy winds, hail and weather balls
I would've sent you a Huge Power Regigas with Geomancy or a Hitmonchan with Sucker Punch.
ah yes canon regigigas
suggestion for egg. Simple Regigigas with Power-up Punch. Or, if you're feeling silly and goofy, a Magikarp with Slow Start
For me I would do Charizard (Because Charmander is my favourite Pokémon) with Huge Power and the moves Dragon Dance, Thrash, Hyper Beam, and Flamethrower. Just to make it powerful!
Feraligatr; Ability: Sheer Force; Item: Life Orb; Moves: Crunch, Ice Fang, Liquidation, Swords Dance
(Amazing video btw!)
