From past 2 years i have fallen in love with the van life you have started ..... I am always excited to see new episode in the winter season everyday 😊 ...... Love for you ❤️
Hint: when you park overnight in ground with snow get some sticks and put them under the wheels so that the next day you dont get stuck. Life saving hint.
Yeah, I gotta give the van driver props for maneuvering a van in deepish snow like that. I guess he’s able to turn off the ABS and other programs in the computer related to traction control otherwise he wouldn’t be able to spin his tires as can be needed in snow like that. Plus he’s got balls to be out there because if it snows overnight, he’s not getting out.
I really admire the dedication that these overlanders have for taking their cinematic shots. They have to get out, set up the camera, drive by, get back out pick up the camera, and rinse and repeat.
Hey Chad, I love to cook the recipes you make on your adventures. Here in The Netherlands sometimes it’s difficult to get all the right ingredients. It's really helpful you show the items you’re using on camera. Nevertheless, your recipes always taste delicious! Can't wait to try this meal next week! Thanks a lot for all the effort you put in the LTVL channel! I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! I am looking forward to your next adventure!
I can see why you call this spot one of your favorites to camp at in WA. It's absolutely gorgeous from all angles and the playful pup really lifted my spirits when you first got there
Merry Christmas to my favorite RUclipsr! Your videography is outstanding. I feel like I'm there each time.... Seriously, when I see these I so very much wish I could venture out and travel all over like you do but it isn't meant at this time. I appreciate you allowing me to live through you
Note to LtVL: you should not decrease tire pressure to increase footprint in snow this applies on some surfaces (mud, sand to prevent sinking) but not on snow the narrower your footprint the better off you are.
I’ll kindly disagree without a giant debate here. I think for compact snow and ice, I’d agree with your statement. But when snow gets soft, powdery and DEEP… then you’re basically in sand type material anyways. The only reason I even care to disagree with you is because I’ve been stuck in DEEP snow…. In 4x4… tires spinning with zero movement. I was solo. No option for a tow. No tire chains etc…. As a last ditch effort (no pun intended), I aired down my tires by about 50% and drove myself right out on my own with not another finger lifted other than airing down. So because of my own first hand experience… I’m a firm believer that reducing air pressure in your tires will indeed help in deep snow conditions and will continue to air down anytime I find myself in those conditions.
Chad sir you've got yourself a great thing going for yourself!!! The sights and no hustle and bustle noise around your camps. Thats just one of the many things you share with us on your journeys as they are very much appreciated!!! Keep at it an stay safe in all you do!!!
Currently watching your videos whilst I'm in my van whil in the Scottish highlands. Your videos are an inspiration Chad. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2023.
The posole meal looked so incredibly delicious...I could almost smell it! I love posole and menudo especially on the coldest wintry days. This was an epic adventure, Chad, and the addition of Trucker is a huge plus.
Chad, you are truly a Blessed man for the freedom of being able to go on this awe-inspiring adventures. The views from the drone footage are undescribable, the words Magnificent, wonderous, majestic, magical doesn't do it justice. I feel like I'm soaring/flying on the wings of an eagle to unimaginable heights, my Spirit ever free/light as a feather as I soar and glide majestically through cathedrals of creation and I thank you this spectacular adventure.
Sometimes need do less intro stuff with the music sorry just want see you get there and set up less video cutting wood just get to the finish quicker plz ugh lose a lot interest chopping wood etc … ugh ! Just suggestion
I am so happy you have a dog now. No greater companion than a dog. Trucker is such a happy guy. I love the scenes of him digging the stick out of the snow. He's such a cutie . As always epic cinematography. Beautiful scenery. You make winter look wonderful. We live in the mountains of British Columbia in a fifth wheel travel trailer. We are at 1200 meters and get a lot of snow. Some years the snow doesn't completely leave until the beginning of June !! Your posole looked amazing. Thank you for sharing your family tradition. Now I am craving a good hardy and spicy dish . It's snowing out right now so no better time than to put on a pot of chili or soup. :) Thanks again Chad for sharing your beautiful adventures. Wishing you a wonderful New Year with many more epic adventures to come.
This was just wonderful to watch, your cinematography/drone skills are just next level! Thank you for doing these videos and allowing all of us the opportunity to experience the great winter land trips you take, not to mention your great food cooking skills as well!
I sure do love watching LTVL vids during winter. Makes them feel homely. I also look forward to all the seasonal vids as well...Chad does the van life solid. One of my fav channels.
Living vicariously through you Chad...your channel has an exquisite blend of excitement, solitude, confidence and wisdom...served with a healthy side of mind blowing visuals and music...thanks for inviting me along for your adventures Chad
We looked at Mercedes vans yesterday. My work friend was looking at them because he’s going to retire soon. I’m already retired at 56 and the vans looked great to me. Now I want one. I live in Washington near Mt. St. Helens so we have places to go. We as in me and my dogs.
I'm watching the video and now I'm sad that there is no snow in Croatia at the moment (abnormally warm +12C/+53.6F for this time of year). A man really knows how to enjoy himself to the fullest. Merry Christmas Chad!
Chad , when you post your videos, always look forward to them , magnificent scenery, great time to grab a coffee sit down and tuck into your videos. Coming to you from the land down under.
I’m new to your channel. I’m also an Agile off Road customer. We live in the PNW as well. Love this video showing our beautiful Cascade Mountains. I don’t have an off road van, mine is a Pleasure Way buildout, which I use as my office on wheels and travel in it as well. Your van is absolutely gorgeous. I never had an interest in owning a van until 2019, and I love that I’ve got one now. I’m always learning something new from people that travel in their vans. I never considered the instapot, that’s a brilliant idea. I bake in the Omni oven which I absolutely love on my gas stove. Great recipe, I’m making this at home tonight for my family, thank you for the idea. Safe travels. Cheers from Redmond, WA
Been following for a few years! We like to watch your adventures while we are cuddled up in bed. Sometimes the trails are scary and we worry about you. Every time the scenery is majestic and we envy you!!! Keep on Trucking!!! ❤❤
Podoba mi się pasja z jaką podchodzisz do życia w vanie. Czy już choćby tylko dla twojego psa warto oglądnąć odcinek 😉. Pozdrawiam i wesołych świąt 🎅 🇵🇱
I finally made the pozole in my IP 6 qt at home. It turned out delicious!! First time I ever had pozole. I will definitely be making this again and again!
Merry Christmas from Germany 🎄Yes, we are wishing that on the 24th of December already. I am always blown away by your videos. Lokking forward to many more adventures in 2023. Safe travels!!
I love the addition of the peanut butter to the posole-chocolate is good too, gives it a mole flavor (I grew up in northern New Mexico) and winter camping is always the BEST! Your dog has pure joy in the snow!
Lol! That peanut butter makes all the difference, although some traditionalists scoff at it. Going to keep the chocolate in mind for that mole flavor. Thanks for watching, Sarah!
My family is from Russia and we create something similar called Plov. Similar to what you just made, but with a layer of rice on top. Just make sure that the liquid is about half a finger above the rice level. And you have even a more substantial dinner. Bon appétit!
6:21. A beautiful and majestic white tiger watches silently over the valley. Beautiful image, plain to see. Thank you Chad. Blessings all and Merry Christmas.
When it comes to winter camping I trust two guys Steve Wallis and Chad (LTVL) and to an extent Foresty Forest. In fact I'll keep both Steve and Chad a little above others anytime.
his videos are so well made... I watch his videos all the time and I've never done this and prolly never will. please keep up the great work.... amazingly produced videos bro... so good.
I love the pure joy that your dog gets from just existing in some snow!
It is so enjoyable to watch your doggie hanging around with you and the meal you cooked looked so awesome!
From past 2 years i have fallen in love with the van life you have started ..... I am always excited to see new episode in the winter season everyday 😊 ...... Love for you ❤️
Hint: when you park overnight in ground with snow get some sticks and put them under the wheels so that the next day you dont get stuck.

This has everything on balance. Sometimes it feels that, when you watch somebodys youtube vid, you watch 30min ad. This one gave me good feeling
It's pozole time! Dude, one of my favorites for sure. Nothing beats mom's pozole high praises to you, mom.
Yeah, I gotta give the van driver props for maneuvering a van in deepish snow like that. the King of van life from an old man in a van!!!! This is the man that made me change my life!!!
Merry Christmas 🚐💨🎄🇳🇴

This channel is worth watching for & kudos to Chad for doing all his vanlife journey without limit👏👏👏Happy Holidays everyone🎉🎉🎉
All praises to Jesus Christ 🙏❤️
This was such magic ✨
Enjoyed tucked in, in the dark. Thank you Chad.
I think all subscribers would agree that we loved to see a LTVL off grid Cook book!!!!
This brought a tear to my eye as a day before seeing this vid i made a stew that my deceased dad used to cook for us...thanks for sharing.
Your choice of music is always what makes these videos just absolutely amazing. Of course you as well Chad!
The titanic theme at the end! Perfect.
Clement by Miles Avida.
I could watch your dog play with a stick for hours 🤣. Great vid once again 👍
No place on Earth more beautiful than the Pacific Northwest
And love ur dog. Hes beautiful

I live in Washington state also so when I get my van you can come and visit.
3:35 As an Alpine resident, I would say that tire pressure is pointless from 50 cm of powder snow.
Only snow chains can help. 😏
Brave to drive on a road in conditions like that with a drop off not to far away😳
I can see why you call this spot one of your favorites to camp at in WA. It's absolutely gorgeous from all angles and the playful pup really lifted my spirits when you first got there

That's what you call living the dream - in harmony with nature.
There's nothing better than flavours and smells from childhood memories and traditions. Always keep-on tracking your wonderful documents!

What a wonderful feeling it must be, to be alone with all that cold space!

The true meaning of living the dream.
This sequence at 1:00 was like the coolest thing I've ever seen a van do 😂😂
The Cascades are some of my favorite places to play/hunt. Unpredictable weather but, gorgeous views, abound. Nice spot, indeed. Later.
