And this scene is, paradoxically, a showcase of how FLAWED (though still quite good) Reloaded is. Look at this awesome scene, with Hugo Weaving's pitch perfect delivery. Now imagine if the entire subplot with Bane either wasn't there or was revealed in a different way. Imagine if this scene was the FIRST one to introduce the concept of multiple Smiths. Imagine the wide open mouths of everyone in the theater. Fuck, when I watch Revolutions, I might try to pull off my own fan edit for personal use simply because of this one scene.
+vanishy0urself That's a good point. Though they already revealed the multiple smiths thing near the start of the movie when two of them meet up and say "It's all happening exactly as before" "Well, not exactly". Though yes, even though it's my favourite movie, it's a bit ramshackled in construction above the subtext.
This is absolutely the best writing in all the Matrix films. Very existential. The best lines: "I killed you, Mr. Anderson. I watched you die." But those two sentences are all the more great within their context.
G-Man from Half-Life having a banter with Agent Smith must sounds strangely unnerving. Smooth talking yet with a weird pause or sometimes none at all in their sentences.

haha xD
Him showing up between the crows was just fantastic.
I love the "Congratulations" and "Thank you..." such a wonderfully binding scene
Like Batman and Joker ... complete opposites and yet perfect for each other in EVERY WAY in competition.
Brilliant. Simply brilliant acting!

*Suddenly beer belly pops out of shirt*
Thecompleted Luigitwat 😂😂😂
Amazing delivery
His entrance is the most badass thing ever. Thumbs up if you agree.
"Mr. Anderson"
Might be one of the coolest and funniest short quotes from movies in general...
He's my favorite villain of all times aand he's V ...omg :')
+Stella yo Elrond, and red skull too! Hugo Weaving is the man!
+otis ostrander Don't forget Elrond.
Silly me how could i forget.
otis ostrander No problem. I forget about Red Skull at times.
+MrDarthXD and Megatron
Hugo Weaving is such a great speaker. I could sit for hours just listening to him read names out of a phone book.
This scene is the scene of life itself. No one was ever born free. Any person ever born was born into slavery and will remain that way until death.
This is absolutely the best writing in all the Matrix films. Very existential. The best lines: "I killed you, Mr. Anderson. I watched you die." But those two sentences are all the more great within their context.
for 360p, this video looks great in the normal sized window!
G-Man from Half-Life having a banter with Agent Smith must sounds strangely unnerving. Smooth talking yet with a weird pause or sometimes none at all in their sentences.
Best Thank You ever committed to celluloid. Best part about Smith is his diehard commitment to being utterly polite to his enemies even when he despises them. Such civility.
The most polite, articulate, well-dressed evil villain in movie history!
Agent smith is just BADASS
It s incredible how some people can change us
I love the fact that he always calls him "Mr.Anderson"
Hugo Weaving happens to be the greatest accenter of all time
I really love his voice.
Weaving does an Oscar worthy performance in all of these films
Most underrated movie in the world together with the third one.
Why Hugo Weaving didn't get a Oscar nomination for this? I think Smith is one of the greatest caracters of all time.
The Agent Smith actor is SO FUCKING COOOL, hes acting like a GOD!!! also the smith character is so well written
I love that they have a great amount of respect for each other. But they will try to kill each other anyway.
What an epic scene!
So many Hugo Weaving clones and I can't get even one for myself?
It is purpose which denies you that.
your like ratio is at 69 and i aint spoiling it
Olivia Smith are you the daughter of agent smith?
+Dell Conagher it is purpose that created us

"Well, congratulations [douche nozzle]."
Thank you [kind sir].
Agent smith is my all time hero.
