How One State is Setting the Pace on Protecting Parental Rights

  • Whose children are they?
That’s the question at the heart of what has played out at public school board meetings across the country in recent years. School boards and government officials are claiming children belong to “all of us” and not their individual families. They believe bureaucrats - not parents - should be the ultimate decision-makers regarding what’s best for children.
As of September 2023, Parents Defending Education counted over 1,000 school districts with parental exclusion policies that keep parents in the dark about their own child’s gender identity, impacting more than 18,000 schools and over 10.7 million children nationwide.
Prior to the 2023-24 school year, Virginia’s Department of Education adopted new model policies that brought changes for parents and teachers. These commonsense policies require parents’ written permission to change their child’s name or pronouns at school.
And parents can opt out their child from sharing intimate spaces like bathrooms and locker rooms with opposite-sex students. The policies also respect the many caring Virginia teachers who want to work openly with parents, and not hide their child’s struggle with gender.
Now, it’s up to elected officials - on school boards, in state houses, and all the way to the White House - to follow Virginia’s lead and honor the central role parents play in raising their own children.

Facts!! As a brand new parent (I’m due on 2/14 and it is currently 2/8), I am extremely concerned about the school system, especially public school. At school, children are being raised by actual children (peer pressure) and other children’s parents’ ideologies (children speaking what they’ve been taught to others). Though I would rather not send my child- my daughter, to public school, should that be the case, I would like and love to be able to have a say so in what she hears and believes. I already am going to have to consistently talk and encourage her everyday in order to rewrite the delusion she’ll hear everyday. I understand that and look forward to it as a parent. However, I do NOT want people putting “thoughts” into my daughter’s head, especially when she’s at an age where she’d normally not ask those questions. “Mommy, a boy came in the girls’ bathroom today but my teacher said it was okay because he’s a girl too” is not a sentence that should come out of her mouth. And I don’t mean hide the fact that you’re brainwashing my child and keeping it secret. No sentence of the topic should even be floating around in her brain.
Furthermore, THANK YOU for advocating for parents. THANK YOU for advocating for children’s minds. And THANK YOU for standing up for us and our families during a time of censorship and undermining. Thank you for giving us a voice and supporting us as parents as we continue to support our children. ❤

I am a member of a research group that has seen, and researched this for the last three years! This is far worse than this video explains! Very good job though in covering a fraction of what is going on!

myop given the high % of ignorant parents, there should be mandatory courses or parents can lose their kids.
as a former client and employee of the Children's Aid Society, i know there r reams of lower class parents that operate without an ability to NOT abuse their offspring.
either mentally by putting the children down, eg: why can't u be the president like (name any dumb white man)?
or why can't u marry into the bloodlines? why do u have to work for a living, at min wage?
IF the parents follows the laws of the Constitution (read the words, like Article 1 S 8 P1), and pay their taxes, then the parents MIGHT be able to have their 5th Commandment.
but when a parent hits their kid, and the local laws deny this activity, then the breeders should be arrested, have their kids taken away and then the breeders (non readers of the white man's authored laws (Constitution)) should be deported to one of the 55 countries in africa.
I have attended more public schools than catholic (Private schools), so i know the system. I have also seen the movie 'Lean on Me'. Joe Clark was right, but he was fighting a tide of lower classes that refused to mandate reading (have their kids read).
Good luck with your R&D group. remember, u are supposed to observe and report, and NOT to taint your survey of the controlled group.
IF u see evidence of child abuse, u know what has to happen and it will not be pretty. some Men are sent to brown paper bag an abusive mother
some men are sent to handle the hands of an abusive father.
some hands end up not a part of the arms they once were from. that is MY R&D for u //
Parents should know more than their kids, but most kids know more by grade 8 than their parents ever learned (from watching tv).
Jesus never preached to any whites, but He sure did tell that dark skinned Judaist Kid (in Luke) to 'honor his parents for they can kill (the kid)' and it is all 100% legal as per moses, as per Abraham as per the Torah. //
the white american men made it so the kids could not be abused, not raped by their own relatives, it was not Jesus, nor any of the Bible that denies such CEST // God has a plan and part of that plan is Judging all parents for their actions and lack of actions.
FD: my mother was a terrible parent. More than once she almost killed me.
I would never have been mad at her if she had aborted me, after all, she did have me in 1969 without a husband. God wanted me to be white in this lifetime and to smash them whites that claim to be allowed to hit their kids
or lie to their kids and have them serve overseas in a GOP started war.
Matthew 26:52, even for a white man, means death to the soldiers that kill in vain. death by suicide, so none of their souls ever enter MY Heaven.
God Bless and thank u for your service in the service sector.
you helped the Shareholder Class profit more than even they ever imagined post the trump corporate tax cuts.
