I agree! There is a video of high school game was called in 3rd period when A Guy elbowed a much smaller girl in the head & she collapsed! It would suck for girls sport no matter how long it takes. Those schools may have to form their own independent school sports body. In Wisconsin private schools and religous schools at one time had their own sanctioning body known as the WISAA, before merging with the public schools organization and becoming the WIAA. If a situation like this would come up, its possible those independents could go back to the former separation of public and private schools.
As Christians we will have to realize we will face ostracism from a sinful culture more and more. Glad they are standing up for their principles. I hope Christian schools stand strong despite whether they win or not. I’m hopeful that Christians realize that a sport is not something to idolize and give up our principles for. It has been quite a few years since my children (two sons and one daughter) played sports. They all played soccer but found the true, pure game was being played in the private clubs anyway. Hopefully the growth of private clubs and leagues will prevail. Defunding school sports makes a lot of sense, given this development. So many other student activities (e.g., art, music, debate) are being eliminated because of costs. Let the parents who would allow their male child to play as a female pay for a sport and make their own rules. Guessing the leagues who allow this sort of cheating won't be filling too many rosters.
A school that disagrees with males in females sports needs to form all male teams to compete in females sports. That should send a powerful message to the schools that want males to compete in female sports.

In Wisconsin private schools and religous schools at one time had their own sanctioning body known as the WISAA, before merging with the public schools organization and becoming the WIAA. If a situation like this would come up, its possible those independents could go back to the former separation of public and private schools.
As Christians we will have to realize we will face ostracism from a sinful culture more and more. Glad they are standing up for their principles. I hope Christian schools stand strong despite whether they win or not. I’m hopeful that Christians realize that a sport is not something to idolize and give up our principles for. It has been quite a few years since my children (two sons and one daughter) played sports. They all played soccer but found the true, pure game was being played in the private clubs anyway. Hopefully the growth of private clubs and leagues will prevail. Defunding school sports makes a lot of sense, given this development. So many other student activities (e.g., art, music, debate) are being eliminated because of costs. Let the parents who would allow their male child to play as a female pay for a sport and make their own rules. Guessing the leagues who allow this sort of cheating won't be filling too many rosters.
A school that disagrees with males in females sports needs to form all male teams to compete in females sports. That should send a powerful message to the schools that want males to compete in female sports.

No don’t get me wrong. Don’t want them sitting on the couch. I want them to stick up for themselves and fight for what they believe. And starting other leagues is just skirting around the problem. They have travel leagues that they could go to, there are other ways to play ball.

Choice! These young women need to stand up for what is right or to do what they believe is wrong. The system has failed them but the ultimate choice is still theirs. If they sacrifice their belief of right and wrong this time I can assure them it won’t be the last time they do it. Every time you do the right thing it is easier to do it the next time regardless of what that maybe.
This mess will correct itself in time regardless of what they do. However far fewer young women will be hurt if it is stopped sooner than later.
In the end doing what you know to be right is far easier to live with than doing what you know is wrong. How many times have you regretted doing what’s right ?

On one hand, I understand what he means by this, on the other hand it’s actually good that this is NOT the only case like it, because the only way this will be combated is for more and more schools and teams to stand up for what’s right in spite of the immediate consequences.
