      Little league coaches are the reason for the demise of little league in most communities. They are narcissists that make the game about themselves and their abilities to coach, rather than to teach the kids to improve in the areas they need improvement in. Sure, kids want to win, but they also need to know what it's like to lose! I especially can't stand the coaches that make it all about their own son on the team, particularly in basketball, where their kid is encouraged to be a ball hog and forget that he has teammates to help him!

Of course there are plenty of outstanding people in every profession. Any common job can be attractive to a positive person, but there’s mainly one that stands out to the not so positive people. You can also say he’s implying that whoever is responsible for who gets hired as cops usually looks for people who are aggressive with little to no morals or boundaries. That makes a lot of sense to me. There’s a lot of power and leverage in the government and whoever has the most control over it probably wants enforcers who won’t have a moral objection to any orders.

The notion that departments look for these people is shameful and untrue. Does the military look for aggressive 18 year olds who have to follow orders? No but I’m sure your experience as a soldier would answer that question. Do you know who is more aggressive than cops in our society? Everyone else. Hence the reason we need law enforcement.

    "We are looking into the incident." In other words, nothing will be done because he is law enforcement. I am sure this is not the first or last "incident" with that officer. He thinks it is OK to assault children but if someone did the same thing to him he would arrest them. Unprofessional, childish, vindictive, and unable to control his temper. He should not be a police officer with those "qualifications".

    • @thomasjoseph5876
      @thomasjoseph5876 Год назад

      I don't know. Many cops can get by with a lot and their dept. will turn a blind eye to it but lately, anything involving disabled, elderly, children, or pregnant women the pendulum seems to swing really hard the other way against them. Especially something so blatant that kids are complaining about it hurting ON VIDEO.
      My best guess is this guy will end up "resigning" and he will have to move away but his superiors might set something up for him elsewhere. Although, a smart superior would make him resign and wash his hands of this dude and his antics completely.

      Those are exactly the qualifications needed to be in LE these days, and that’s the problem. It’s not a ‘bad apples’ problem, the problem is that the system hires and incentivizes bad apples, so that’s all that’s left in the bunch.

      That's not true. The accused gets placed on leave while the department or an outside agency investigates the allegations. In the meantime, no one is allowed to talk about it outside of the investigation. This includes the person designated to give statements to the press. Everyone is tape recorded when given this order and your response so no one can say they didn't know.

    Aware of the incident and are looking into it: Translation it means you will never hear about it again because it will be forgotten and the kids will have grown up before anything would be done. The guy is a jerk and should be banned from coaching forever.

    They won't do shit. Wait until he ends up like all bad cops, pulling a power trip and getting the whole department sued. He'll cost the community millions in legal fees and restitution.
    Anybody with balls on that department would fire him now before it's too late.
