There are differences throughout the world. The UK deliberately decided install break tanks to give 24 hr water storage in homes for security of supply whilst in Europe they did not follow the UK.
Who's installing break cisterns in homes? We only install them in multi-storey buildings with high head pressure to prevent backflow contamination of undertakers mains
Interesting, what is the limit of hot water temperature flowing throughout that PvC pump buster housing?? As the main cause of shower pumps busters wit PvC housing are issues with hot water temperature exceeding 65 degrees
A constant 85 Deg C is fine which is way above anything in a domestic plumbing system. We use these pumps on everything from central heating systems to solar thermal and 100 deg C seems ok but I will stick with saying 85 Deg C.
80% of people get away with just boosting the hot. 20% of people need to boost the cold as well. A Sp2b (one pump) is £125 and a SP22S (2 pumps) is £200. If the cold seems ok and you just like hot showers (42 deg C), then the mixer mixes 2/3 hot with 1/3rd cold. If you boost the hot only and the cold looks after itself. Any doubts buy the SP22S.
Alan... I like the pump but I think it could do with improvements to the resonance factor due to it been too narrow and a few others that I can think of. Chat anytime
Can you direct me to a fitter in the Leeds area, please, for the shower booster? Also, if a bathroom or washing machine is on, will it still work> I ask because if the shower is in use and someone turns on another tap or washer the shower dribbles.
Hi John, We have several fitters in the leads area go to. If you fit it on the pipe that feeds just the shower the shower works well when washing machines and other taps are turned on in the house. See www.showerpowerbooster.co.uk/choose-right-plumber/
The pump is whisper quiet (30db), but sometimes you can get resonance through the pipework ((but because the pumps are so very small and generate so little heat you can muffle the pump (and insulate the pipes)).

I’m a convert just fitted one and the pressure difference is unreal on hot water supply
Brilliant! Thanks Chris! Alan

This is amazing. Definitely going to fit this.
Do you also need one on the cold feed to the shower as I thought you need equal hot and cold pressure to a thermostatic shower? Kind regards

hi , will this pump increase water pressure in gravity fed shower?
i s yeah I've got a system the same as yours and it works spot on
that's what he is demonstration is on. That's not a pressurized cylinder in the background.
I require a pressure pump for bathrooms
wow. going to recommend to customers.

John Hitchman You rang, simpleton.
What if the motor fails after certain time?
Can you replace the motor without taking out the whole pipe module?
You can simply replace the motor if that is all you need to replace.
Can you direct me to fitter near Manchester area please?
www.showerpowerbooster.co.uk/ there are several plumbers in the Manchester area who can help you www.showerpowerbooster.co.uk/choose-right-plumber/
its January 2020 and where is this pump lol
The inventor might know about hydraulics but doesn't know about electrical installations.
There is a difference between voltage and current.
what is the d BA rating on this pump

This was the original Mark 1 pump we commercialised - we have now brought out the fully automatic flow controlled model www.showerpowerbooster.com
