Every time I hear this song I just want to grab my bike, meet all of you guys in the comments and ride together, so we can forget all the shit we're going through!
Real talk tho! riding till we forget this shitty world.
In my city there's an event called *Jogja Last Friday Ride* it's like a car free day, but we hit the city in the friday night and it was so frickin massive. I've been there twice and it was hella fun
I'm with you bro
All the best for you from Germany
I'm Ready with my leather jacket.
4 days before 2024🎉. Almost 14 yrs since released, still one of my favs...
Ugh. 2010 was so long ago…
Almost 2025
STILL AWESOME
14 years passed by that fast man.
Ditto
2 days to 2025.. almost 15 years since release and am still addicted to this song
It's hard to find artists like Jared Leto who could do all at once. He direct, produce, a songwriter, one hell of a singer and an incredible actor. And this guy is 43 which looks unbelievably younger than me and im 27 looking like voldemort. This guy is a real multi-talent. One in a million.
+Dan Sowinski 96.. billion..? What the fuck are you talking about?
+Dan Sowinski Idiot? Suure.
"what the fuck are talkin about?" ..?
Nice sentence btw.
+Dan Sowinski Also, there are about 7 or 8 billion people alive or something in Earth ATM.
I don't think all the humans who ever lived are really usually referenced to as "people" .. More like "Once people, now corpses". Counting a bunch of bones doesn't make much sense when speaking about a someone being a part of a group (live humans, in this case)..
Dan Sowinski I replied.
Dan Sowinski Worship Satan with me.
It's crazy how just a song can bring back so many feelings and nostalgia.. 😔❤️
Sinapses...
That bit where the man was blowing the fireball perfectly encapsulates the power of this song tenfold.
🎶 =⌚📠
Love this song!
srsly, brev, on another level
12 years later, it still giving me the same goosebumps. Much respect for this band
I was in LA during these fires and it was truly wild. Jared Leto is an artist. Totally agree about the goosebumps.
The unbridled power of unity this song represents is absolutely earthshattering.
Definitely

Big facts
That “OOOOOUUUUOOOOO” is the best driving with the windows down on a summer night during sunset. Feels like the whole world is singing it lol
I had the exact same thought man.
How can we have the same picture
Im in ..
Ok from now on I’ll be driving round in silence with that part cued up ready for sunset
I was so moved by it that I cried.
After 12 years...Closer to the edge, kings & queens ...a song never gets old..
The first time I heard this song, it was a rush of euphoria. I was in 7th grade and just braved riding my first roller coaster with my best friend. Since that moment, it’s been a personal anthem of triumph. It’s been 16 years at least. This song is still just as euphoric as the first day I discovered it. ❤
Feel you!
this song makes me think back to when we all were children, we were all innocent, no real responsibilities except having fun with our friends, our wild imaginations...when we were young princes and princesses...Happy. May we all live to find our inner youth to always be joyful.
"Kings And Queens"
Into the night
Desperate and broken
The sound of a fight
Father has spoken
We were the kings and queens of promise
We were the victims of ourselves
Maybe the children of a lesser God
Between heaven and hell
Heaven and hell
Into your eyes
Hopeless and taken
We stole our new lives
In defense of our dreams
In defense of our dreams
We were the kings and queens of promise
We were the victims of ourselves
Maybe the children of a lesser God
Between heaven and hell
Heaven and hell
The age of man is over
A darkness comes at dawn
These lessons that we learned here
Have only just begun
We were the kings and queens of promise
We were the victims of ourselves
Maybe the children of a lesser God
Between heaven and hell
We are the kings
We are the queens
We are the kings
We are the queens
🎉

July 2021!! This song still hits strong. Let's ride through this year together!
Шикарная песня👍Привет из России😘
I friggin know right!

Привет из Беларуси! Лучшие💖
Es cierto. Aún suena fuerte ♥️
2010s was something. This music gives me goosebumps. How important it was. Carefree and seeking. For millianals like me, gamers, cosplayers, music, art, expression, connections, value, love, friendship, loose, unrequited, this was us. Daring. It was life full. And i loved it. What i saw.
It really felt like the future was full of excitement and promise. Now it feels like dread and uncertainty. I miss these times.
@maximumbeans9310 tears in my eyes. It feels so much. Alot of people miss it too.
2010s were awful in most of those genres lol. Glad it’s nostalgic for you and I respect that but things are much better in those aspects now and leagues better in the early 2000s and 90s 😂
@@willshrake it was the early 2010s that was good, late, no.... very bad, but I understand what you mean.
You really described it well.
This is still one of the best songs ever made.
It is!
Do you understand what this song is about???
@@user-bd5md5cm2j It's about the idea of living life to the fullest and embracing the thrill of adventure and freedom. It speaks to the desire to break free from the constraints of everyday life and to experience the world in all its wonder.
i just remember seeing this music video on MTV at 4 AM like 10 years ago. how much i'd love to re-live those days...
same
Me too let's go back guys
Same, dude. I used to listen and watch the music video at around the same time at 4AM just before getting ready to go to school.
Those were some good days.
Jared Leto has to be one of the most talented people in entertainment today. Not only is he one of the more talented singers, but he's also one of the best actors today. It's rare for actors and singers to cross platforms and have success, but to do so and be one of the best in both areas is something to marvel at. hats off to this guy, he's one a hundred million.
Modern day bob geldoff
Far beyond Geldoff.
+Django Cribbs as a musician hell yes. As an actor....... Idkkkk

Cadê os brasileiros que curtem essa música e essa banda maravilhosa? Vou ouvir 30 Seconds pelo resto da minha vida / Where are the Brazilians who enjoy this music and this wonderful band? I will listen to 30 Seconds for the rest of my life.
I feel like I'm going to heaven every time I hear this song...
Aminnnnn
My brother has this song on his iTunes and it connects to his car, so I make him play it whenever I ride in it XD. Oh, btw, I feel the same
me too
Illuminati is not heaven
I feel something similar. Like I'm flying through the clouds. THIS is a high morale song if I've ever heard one.
This is not my genre of music but this sound is magic. I keep coming back. Magnetism. Delight.

July 2023 and it's still one of the best songs out there. Still gives me goosebumps. Great album back then
I'm convinced this song is their magnum opus. So many feelings in just 4 minutes, plus the nostalgia factor doesn't wear off either.
Completely agree!!!! Glad I wasn't the only one. 😝
yeees, this one and from yesterday are like their best songs for eternity
Agree
May I add "This is war"
Brilliant , I once said the same thing at a party and... I got the R.C.A. dog look from those present. I wasn't hurt though realizing that it was not my crowd ,if , you know what I mean. Since you used the term magnum opus clearly you do. Much live to another intellectual audiophile. ❤
Almost 10 years later, this song, still is much more relevant to most songs nowadays..
Most songs nowadays are regurgitative drivel-some of the best and most timeless songs fly under the radar.
Especially now that quarantine is bringing all the feels😫
@Jayme Fortune analogy? i'm simply saying "Most" of what's out there. the whole spectrum of music industry.
I know more song lyrics which are more beautiful than this song. but don't compare it on a 2nd grader's book report.
sometimes, i don't care about the lyrics. the meanings. the tempo. the rhythm, found in a song. because i see'em all as whole when i judge it.
also, i very liked Kings and Queens because it was the catalyst that made me love music. it was my childhood.
This song is about emotional connection to a simpler time when we fould all be a little more carefree. It drives the senses. It makes you want to sing along.
5:45 I can hear their echos from that past singing too us. I'll like to join them in that time.
January 2019, I bought this album in 2010. I grew up in the 80s. I have heard literally thousands of songs over the years. This song is about as close to perfect as a song can get in my opinion. I would definitely put it in my top 5 songs of all time. Will never grow tired of it.
Well said. I agree.
corey Taylor it’s an opinion.
Well, aside from that horrific crash sound in the middle
Agreed! Not fond of the music video but the song lives on.
It's a great song. If you like this kind of thing, and haven't already, listen to 'Minerva' by the Deftones which evokes a similar sense of joy
I met Jared Leto backstage at the eagles ballroom in 2010. He told me I had cool hair. I am now bald. DAMN YOU, TIME!
Time, Is the enemy
At The Rave in Milwaukee? That's fucking cool.

Still listening to this til this day... This never gets old

и даже сейчас слушаете?
This song always remembers me of my favourite radio station Radio Tananana from Romania which was closed 3 months ago. This was the last song they played.
That song you listen to when you finally work the math of existence out for yourself and realize how piteously helpless we are concerning what happens to us; so you lift your chin and let the rain fall upon your tired face, you let every drop of bitterness cry down with the sky until you're soaked with the misery, then you pray for the sunshine to caress the weariness away; maybe a song like this rocks you in it's arms murmuring a soothing berceuse until you dream this life away.
…or…
(very well written though your post is, I beg you to hear me out)…
That song you listen to and plagiarize four years after its original released (if you’re Jared Leto, and you like eyeliner) hoping no Boston-area fans of the band *Dear Leader* have ever heard their marquis song, _Nightmare Alleys,_ which was released in autumn of 2006, almost a full four years earlier:
ruclips.net/video/dZt-kKiKZXU/видео.html&feature=share
As someone who feels strongly about about such matters-trivial though they are, no doubt-I invite you, or *anyone* who actually takes the time to _listen_ to the entirety of the above Dear Leader song, to convince me that Leto and his crew _didn’t_ rip them off.
Respectfully: I look forward to your counter-arguments.
The end it's like an ocean of people singing. Brilliant.
Christoffer Hoff literally the 30stm fans singing
Thought 1: I've always been vaguely familiar with this band and enjoyed their music. Thought 2: Jared Leto is one of the finest ACTORS alive.
Thought 3: saw them perform on New Years this year and finally put it all together...
Jared Leto IS 30 Seconds to Mars.
Final thought: Acting might only be the SECOND best thing this guy does.
I still get chills listening to this! Watching the video makes me feel old now but this music still connects on the deepest levels.
The concert in Mexico City was in 11 October 2018,and they close that concert with this song, was perfect.

THIS HAS GOTTA BE THEE GREATEST ROCK SONG OF THE CENTURY!!!!!! A MUST FOR ALL RADIO STATIONS!!!!!!
tbh i doubt that
Reasons Jared Leto is perfect:
The guy is 43, yet looks 10 years younger.
He is one hell of an actor
And he can sing!
Annie Burke I'd say he looks 15 years younger.

Annie Burke Now he just needs to take off and fly...
He also looks like Jesus at times

Takes me back to the good ole days when I was a bike messenger in Brisbane. 1999/2000/2001. None of u were considered cyclists as such, just a bunch weird, smelly dudes on bikes. No lycra, no fucked up self entitled attitudes just a great collection of characters that loved doing what we did. We drank a lot after work hours and smoked a lot and for 3 years I truly loved my job and the people that I worked with. This music video helps me a lot.
this song is just everlasting... and now more needed than ever...
