Subtract a defensive attribute and you can get get one more play making badge and keep your 27 upgrades
Great video! Couple of my tweaks, if you take 1 point off Off Reb (I think, it might be 2) and put it on Pass Accuracy you get a 4th Playmaking badge without losing any Def badges. Keeping your Off Reb at a very respectable 92 cap. Also, if you go down to 181 pounds you get an extra point towards Acceleration without losing Strength. Already grinded out a Lockdown that is essentially 2KLabs Lockdown from 19 (6'8" 203# Red Skill Pie and Even Agility Pie), this lined it up everything but Vert I believe to be within a point or two of the 19 build. Time to get grinding on this and see which one works best. Turning and changing directions with last years model can be tough, I'm hoping this new build solves that without losing the strength to body and clamp down ballhandlers. I know typically preference, but any insights from Wolf on animation packages would be good, I feel like I spend 30 minutes trying to figure out which Behind the Back, or whatever, animation sucks the least, only to change it constantly throughout the year.

thank hank you for this amazing build! I always played with guards and I needed to find a good big man build and this is the one! I dropped 56 points in the test game with basic and normal 1 animations and the curry shot. Even though I didn't take any threes lol. Once I get down and learn this build, I will be able to pull of some crazy park dunks

Almost the same way I made my lock, but used the stats he has on playmaking for more finishing badges and rebounding
Don’t get me wrong, this build is nasty, but my 2 way finisher would bully this build hands down.

6’8 245lbs got 90 vertical and close to 90 speed
I made this build at launch but went for the agility and vertical pie chart. I'm seriously considering remaking it as I feel like I'm a liability without being able to shoot. I put nothing in the shooting category and when I'm in park players just stay in the paint when I have the ball. I also wish I put some points in playmaking as quick first step and downhill are such good badges. I dont think you need 30 and you dont need 7 hall of fame. I'm at a 92 so itll be tough giving up on my original but I want a build that can play all modes and effect both ends. I still feel you should put points in def rebounding but maybe that's because every year I wanna make Dennis Rodman
Levi Genesis I dunk all over 7’3 centers like nothing with gold contact. I average 10.7 PPG, 3.2 assists and 4 rebounds m. This builds is insansenif you know how to use it. Standing dunks like nothing. Guards can’t stop me. Neither can bigs I dunk on em all day. It’s OP af.
Make slasher your takeover on it, SG 6’7, max wingspan 182 lbs. goated.
86 win percentage. 2s I’m unstoppable against another guard. I instantly cut in and standing dunk on em. If. If not I’ll break the first defender and dunk on the big that’s waiting in the paint.
As of late I’ve been getting like 3 steals and almost like 2 blocks a game. Also scoring like 12, 14,15 pts a lot lately too.

Hey funny thing is... I already have this build.. guess wolf and I think alike or people have been looking at my build. I didn't know about the intercepter part tho. I will start picking up passes now. I think I found a jump shop that's not 38 either. I got a 50/50 Chris Paul, James Harden jump shot too.

@@damazsta Ahlie? Mans out here like their 49 3ball gets boosted to a 90 LOL. Even with your 4 badges, +5 attributes, boost, dimer and floor general (perfect scenario) that 3 ball isn't going down consistently. I feel like the playmaking lock is the wave this year
@@damazsta I have one shooting badge. And that badge is slippery off ball. It helps in creating Alley Oops.
He can Hit the mid range consistently, you HAVE to be able to stretch the floor or you're a liability on offense

Yup that's what I make every year it's my real life playstyle 6'7 power forward I even make my player look like the worm I be snagging on 7'3 centers
People stop sleeping on lighting reflexes it's not just arrows popping up your side to side while defending increases and putting it on just silver makes a huge difference if you struggle with perimeter defense shit even if you don't you should have the badge
Intimidator and rim protector at hof no doubt and pogo stick over rebound chaser too. Like wtf? This guys trippin.
SSGSS JB he’s only 6’7 your mostly gonna play on the perimeter so why pick rebounding over blocks and honestly it’s personal preference because you can experiment so much on DEF badges

Some HOF badges are overkill... Plus having at least some badges that get specific animations, like chase down artist, or off ball pest make sense when trying to get the most out of a build as opposed to getting a slight boost from gold to HOF... It’s personal preference as well...

Defense rebounding is so important to winning games if you aren’t getting those as a team you are in trouble I’m sure he is speaking from a perspective of a E league players where they are used to the bigs grabbing every single rebound for the team but we all now randoms can barley box out let alone rebound

Aqh2007 but this build can finish and has maxed defending... Shooting defenders will always be a great choice, but some ppl prefer to play inside, or have teammates that are better shooters... Any team that’s relying on a primary defender to carry the offense shouldn’t play 2k in general 😂😂😂😂😂😂

my lock is 6'9'', 250lbs and has maxed defence, no shooting except mid range and 12 finishing badges. only mistake i made was i didnt make 3 playmaking badges for gold quick step

Kung-Fu Kenny like Wolf said, he is guarding the perimeter on defense and leaking out quite often, therefore no need for defensive rebounding/interior defense. Plus, he crashes the boards offensively out of the corner more.
He’s playing it in a zone scheme so he won’t guard Perimeter

It helps get you past defense with the gather animations, you slide right by for contact dunks it’s insane af. I have gold contact and gold slithery and I body glass lock in traffic with my 2 way finisher. Trust me it’s a goated ass combo.

6'6 is a better height because you get pro contact dunks at 94 an elite contact dunks at 95

This is a 5v5 build. If you are playing on ball defender you aren't getting defensive rebounds, you are leaking out for the fast break.

If you can’t shoot in competitive 5v5 you’re useless unless you’re the center. It’s very easy to play defense when someone can’t shoot and space the floor. Basically a lock that can’t at least be a threat from the corner is useless vs good players

Lockdown Lemke no need if you use base 38. Fastest jumpshot in the game and allows you to allocate badge points elsewhere. Thanks for watching!

Murda2k not the worst idea, I definitely do. But it’s literally so much better to get your hotzones and use hotzone hunter in the corner with silver catch and silver hotzone. You get a higher percentage boosts...

Really the worse build description ever I made a lockdown way OP than this 17 finishing 1 shooting I really don’t need to shoot and 11 playmaking so I can get to rim at ease to dunk on any defender because my vertical is at a 95 and speed still the same and acceleration better and I still have 30 defensive badges
