I'm sure it could help but I didn't try myself as these were hollow core doors. I think it really depends on how much measuring you want to do to get the latch bore and handle bore lined up properly but for me made the process much easier.
Why does everyone just do half of the job on their videos? How do you drill an accurate hole for the dead bolt for the striker plate ? That’s the hole I need to drill and don’t know how to line it up at the right spot to drill in door frame

Idk why they can’t just give you two of those connector pieces so you don’t have to struggle swapping them
I just bought this installation kit though the black thing inside for size is defective n fucked up the whole kit
