My son passed away in June. He was 26 years old. We both loved Dylan and this was my song to him for years. I've always dug Steve Poltz since the Rugburns days. In fact saw them a couple of times in the 90's and I've seen Steve a couple times in the past few years. I was stoked when I stumbled upon this version. Very beautiful. It brings a tear to my eye, but also a smile. May you stay forever young Paxton. Thank you for this version from the bottom of my heart. I listen to it multiple times daily.
A great cause indeed! For you to pick it as your own says a lot for you. Especially to me, because I have long had dreams of being a Nashville musician and I've fought hard trying not to go for it. Staying at my job for fear I'd be homeless with my 2 dogs shortly after I got there. Shame and desperation could keep me there awhile, I imagine. I feel for those who go through this, good job guys in helping those that "there but by the grace of God, go I".
So great cover!!!

please consider sending some lunch money to SAFPAW.ORG we here in Nashville truly appreciate it. Love, Tim E. In Tennessee
