how do you get the laminating sheet not catch little pieces of fuzz! its so staticy then when i sublimate ontop of the vinyl/laminating sheet any white i can see little pieces of fuzz! drives me crazy. TBut the decal looks awesome except for that!
@@FlipandFlutterCreations I also tried to laminate a glass trivet for the first time and it came out with air bubble. I actually been looking at videos to see why this might happen and came across your video. So you think I need to lower my temp? think I did it for about 30 sec at 385
Hi there. Try heavier pressure or more time. Make sure you're using the right laminate sheet and it's facing the right way. If none of those help, let me know!
Thanks for checking out this fun sublimation hack! Don't forget to use a thermal laminating sheet! :)
I tried this and it worked fantastic, so happy with the results 👍👍🙂🙂
Yay! That's great. Thanks so much for watching!
That was great! So many more items to sublimate!
I think so too! Thanks for watching!!
Excellent!!!!🤗🤗💕🙌
Thanks for the great info!
No problem! Hope it helped and thanks so much for watching!

Thank you!!!
Using the 1.5m rather than 3m will allow the canvas texture to show better
Thanks! I will have to try that!
Can you use this hack on galvanized steel sign blanks
?
I have not tried this on steel. I am not sure if it would work, but you could get a cheap one and try it out!
Are the thermal laminating sheets very similar to clear HTV?
I don't believe so. I have never used clear HTV though.
So. The laminate side of the canvas gets the sublimation sheet is that correct ?
That is correct. Thanks for watching!
Can you use Fellowes Double sided laminate pouches??
I think as long as they are not the self sealing ones they should work.

I haven't had this happen yet. I don't take the laminating sheet out until I am ready to use it.
Is there a link for the laminate?
Here is one I have used. amzn.to/44n7rpC
If the image is slightly larger than the laminating sheet - can you piece it together?
You could try! I have not done one larger than the laminating sheet yet.
Does the laminate affect the canvas texture? Thanks for the info. And I laughed a couple of times. You sound like me, oh man and it's hot. 🔥😃
I can still see the texture of the canvas through the laminate. Haha. :) Thanks for watching. :)
Does it have to be a certain brand laminate sheet
Nope. Just make sure it is not a self-sealing one. :) I use just whatever I have on hand.
@@FlipandFlutterCreations thank you for responding really appreciate it
I can't get the sublimate sheet to adheare to the canvus!!! HELP
I replied to your other comment. :)
My sheets bubble on the wood what might I be doing wrong
Are you using them on canvas or wood? What temp? May need to lower it if it's bubbling.
@@FlipandFlutterCreations on wood 385 for 60 to 90 seconds
I only do the laminate for 10-15 sec then sub the image on for the 60.

Sorry... I'm having trouble getting the clear thermal laminate sheet to adhere to the canvas
