The Honda eu7000IS is a terrific generator and I would like to hook A Schneider Context AGS up on mine. I watched the video and see you are using the old 8 pin remote start plug. My Honda is the new Bluetooth Co-minder model with the 6 pin remote start plug. Do you have a video showing the 6 pin? Do you sell the harness for the 6 pin set up w/instructions for the AGS?
Its a great back up generator. Unfortunately this harness will not work with the Bluetooth enabled Honda Generator. If we receive more requests we may look at developing one but unfortunately there are some technical challenges that may make it cost prohibitive.
@@raysolarmadeeasywhat kind of technical challenges could be encountered here? I'm looking into a new generator that I can install a 2 wire remote start system into but don't want to get stuck with the Bluetooth model if it's not possible. Finding an inverter generator with remote start (capabilities) is proving to be a frustrating exercise.
@@tippinator Give us a call and we can help you. We have a AGS that can work for your application without your inverter having something built in if that’s what you’re after?
Hello, thanks for tuning in. Yes, the custom Honda Harness will work in combination with the Schneider AGS. www.raysolar.ca/shop/product/schneider-electric-conext-automatic-generator-start-ags/ Thank you
I have the same plug that you have with the pin at the same location as yours am connected to that same AGS from Schneider why is mine not working ? and you're plugged that you sell works could you explain that for me please thanks
Hello Serge, I am sorry you are having troubles, it sounds like you sourced this harness elsewhere and as such we cannot comment on the connector or any issues arising from it, or any of the potential issues external to it in your circumstances. Our best recommendation would be to have the situation physically troubleshot locally.
Sorry for the delay, you won't need the harness for a two wire start Generac like the eco gen model. Keep in mind the eco gen needs a constant state of AC power to maintain the battery charger function. If you need some technical support on the AGS configuration with the Generac, please reach out.
Hi Tony Its a 4 wire start configuration for the Schneider AGS. Are you installing a harness as you type? The details are on the wiring diagram you receive with the harness. Please contact us for further clarification if you need support.
@@raysolarmadeeasy oh yes you are correct, it is 4 wires. I don't have a honda, it would be easier if I did. I have a wen 4750 dual fuel generator. It doesn't have a termination terminal so I would have to splice into the start switch, I think.
Yes, it could. However you would need to use the EU 3000IS with the SW (4024 or 4048) series inverter since its 120VAC and not 120/240 volts. The other items to note, is this model has a manual choke and would require a solenoid conversion to activate the choke. There is quite of work involved to get it done but it is possible. The easiest way to introduce the AGS would be to use the Honda model 7000is. The AGS kit is inexpensive and works really well and the installation is straightforward! Reach out to us further if you have any more questions.
@@raysolarmadeeasy Thanks for this information it is most Helpful. Any other model Generator that this straightforward conversion can be done with the Schneider ags?
Lololol my locals sold me magnum energy products and sold ne the generator they could never get it to work. Out 20k time to replace the magnum garbage. I believe I'm going with a schneider swpro probably 2 of them, then replace my generator a honda em5000sx. Probably a propane converter editor eu7000
Let us know how we can help you. The Magnum and the Schneider SW/XW series are both great equipment when properly set up and configured for auto gen start. Our harness works perfect great with the Honda 7000 Generator. If you need some consulting let us know.
The eu7000is is a masterful piece of machinery. (beautiful set-up you have there)
Certainly is!
Great video Ray

If i am using one of the diagram with the relay, what do i use to activate the relay. The AGS or the Inverter Axillary?
The Harness itself does not activate, the activation should all be handled between your generator and your AGS.
Do you know if this would be the same setup as a 10kw home standby generac with a two wire start?

the harness guide shows type 8 gen set using harness slots 12,13,14,16,17 & 18. you only used 14,16,17 & 18. why is that?
