- We finally complete Phase 2 of Project Assembly and are well set up for future assembly parts. For the next phase we will be needing motors, a lot of motors. So I go through setting up a motor factory.
Join the ultimate factory-building adventure in Satisfactory! Explore an alien planet, build massive multi-story factories, and dive into conveyor belt heaven to save humanity. Whether playing solo or with friends, get ready for a blend of exploration, construction, and combat in this first-person open-world game!

Can’t tell you how helpful this video was for me. Got my steel plant up and running but when I started looking at making stators and motors, I couldn’t wrap my head around how to accomplish it with the steel plant I just built.
Using the alternate recipes so I can just build a new factory with a different set of Iron nodes is definitely my next step.
I'm happy I could help. Thanks for watching.
The saying when you hop on the zip-line - I see (hear) what you did there! 🤘
Anyways, enjoyable to watch your builds progressing, as well as walking (or trotting) us through the thought process behind your component factories as well as the bigger picture.
- On that note: Totally understandable that the "maffs" (aka mathematics) goes awry from time to time -> High school taught me to "switch off" at 3PM ... Any "maffs" for me beyond this time of the day requires significantly more mental effort! Beyond high school, it was a challenge to concentrate in lectures beyond 3PM
I work during the day and my family is around in the evening so most of my recording happens after midnight. The maffs sucks at that time.
I have 52 coal plants running from those 3 Pure Coal Nodes, 4 banks of 13, 20 water extractors but you need tier 4 belts to shift all the coal and tier 2 pipes for the water haha.
Impressive. I'm going to focus mainly on fuel power.
I found about 100 circuit boards just going hard drive hunting, you can make them now so a mute point but something to think about when starting a new save
I have been so busy that I haven't had time to record the builds and go hard drive hunting. I will do a bit of it on the weekend when I have time.
Hello there! Great video I really learned a lot from this as a new player. I guess it's definitely better to build multiple factories as you start needing that particular parts instead of building one giant factory eh?
I suppose it is just different styles. I like decentralized factories and some people like mega factories. Personal preference.
very nice
Thanks.
I think a different color scheme for mergers and splitters would save you a lot of time. 😂😂
Indeed. They do look different and I should know, but when you are focused on one thing, sometimes you just miss obvious stuff.
molded beam is pretty good
Very handy.
How are you making screws from Iron Ingots? It's making me make pipes then screws
It's an alternative recipe from hard drives.
It is one of the earliest alternate recipes that doesn't have any prerequisite requirements. If you find hard drives early on you have a really good chance of getting that recipe. Just avoid doing any MAM research or tier upgrades before you have it. I think there are only 5 alternate recipes that don't have prerequisites. That is by far the best one.
Hey! Was trying to expand my coal power(setup is exactly same as yours), but realized that the moment i split lines for the 2 sections of generators, the last 2 generators coal starts depleting quickly. Will it happen that they keep turning on and off, or will they keep operating?
If you run out they will turn on and off. Maybe turn them off for a while and let them fill up.
I tried that, it keeps depleting. Does it happen with you too?
Check your coal supply and belt speed to make sure enough coal is coming through. Definitely shouldn't be happening.
