PACCAR MX-11 Euro 6 engine

DAF Trucks is announcing a brand new generation of engines with a displacement volume of 10.8 litres and outputs ranging from 290 to 440 hp. The new state-of-the-art PACCAR MX-11 engine is compact and offers optimum fuel efficiency and a low weight and noise level, in combination with excellent performance and maximum reliability. The new PACCAR MX-11 engine, developed and built by DAF Trucks in Eindhoven, is scheduled to go into production in the autumn of 2013 and will be available in the new DAF Euro 6 CF and XF series.

I wish Europe still use Cummins, Detroit and Cat engines.. (they changed it coz of the noise... well thats crap) If I see a truck, and Thinking about a truck, I think imidiatly at the loud sounds, coz its a truck

In the mountain trucks do make a lot of noise, because of the resonance. That's why the government of Austria had forbidden all trucks making more sound than a DAF. This happened in the nineties. Maybe a lot of sound is nice for you, as a cowboy, but for people living somewhere having to deal with it, it's horrible.

Daf is rubbish ran 3 of theses trucks for 6 months. Should go back to old type of daf. These engine have no power service schedules are to long just total crap.

If you want to be a cowboy, don't buy a DAF. If you know how to treat a lady then buy a DAF. You will get the love you gave in return.
