Very practical budget micro edc kit. Thank for sharing. To me, I will add duct tape wrapped around the lighter. A micro fiber cloth and a small screwdriver for my glasses!

I've taken to carrying separate tools rather than a 1 and one multitool, as have many in the EDC community although admittedly that often includes a SAK which in itself is a multitool.
I think once multitool manufacturers started making all kinds of add-ons specifically bitsets and extenders/ratchets, they strayed away from their original purpose. Like look at the Leatherman ratchet extender and bitset, it's a nice ratchet but I'm not so impressed with the bits, but I carry a dedicated Wera bit driver (813) which is about the same size and lighter, and just carry a few good quality 1/4 in bits and extender with it. The mainstay of my modular EDC is now the Knipex Cobra XS pliers which liberates me from being tied to pliers based multitools.
For example today I'm carrying the Vic Climber (2 blades, excellent scissors, 2 openers/flatheads/pryers/scrapers, awl, and a bunch of other implements which take up no space) with the Knipex pliers, and the Wera driver and bits. Pretty much the same toolset as a Wingman minus the tiny useless file, with better drivers, and in a more discreet compact form factor. Other days I may want a one handed opening knife with better blade steel so swap out the SAK for a Spyderco, add a small SAK for scissors.

Nicely done. I actually just did version one of a bigger “MacGyver” kit for myself. I still need to do a micro version.

Just ran across this and impressed by how much you could fit into such a small space. I realize this is a bit late in the comment cycle, but I'd suggest even just a bit of 1" gorilla tape (strongest ,brand readily available, IMHO) around anything to keep in the kit. I use a small, clipped nail instead of a card to keep things compact. Or wrap it around anything else you are likely to have with you.

Thanks James for the suggestion. So the final solution to tape was about 3 feet of electrical tape wrapped around a piece of thin plastic from a clam shell package. I tried the Gorilla tape but it's just too bulky for such a tiny kit. I have Gorilla tape in my "urban EDC kit" and it's about 3/16 or 5 mm thick. Thanks for watching.

I like it! Maybe add some “clothing“ measuring tape?

Maybe add some clothing measuring tape (like 13 inches).

For your tape issue, get a plastic hollow lollipop handle as your core. a dab of hot glue on one end and a needle prethreaded and wrapped up in the thread will friction-fit inside it real nice without poking you. Cut off any excess and wrap it with gorilla tape or electrical tape or both. Works out to being about the size of a chapstick.

I would have appreciated links to Amazon for products in your kit, or failing that a list by brand and model. The cord you included looks interesting but you never mentioned the manufacturer. Emery cloth is a good idea that I'm going to add to my kit. Consider using an old credit card to wrap a few feet of duck tape and a matching length of electrical tape around. Consider adding salt and pepper packets and one sugar or electrolyte packet as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I have added links to the items available on Amazon and Olight. Everything else in the kit came from AliExpress or Dollar Tree or from around the house.. Because of the nature of the AliExpress website links rarely work correctly. And Dollar Tree is Dollar Tree.
A credit card and just a foot of duct tape is too bulky to fit. Electrical tape will make it's way in some how, I'm just not sure yet. It needs to be very flat and not wrapped around another item in the kit.

What brand is your OD green watchband? Where did you find it? Great work pouch. I can tell you really put some thought into it.😊

Thanks. The watchband came on the watch www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FFBHM7F I will say that because it is a NATO style band I have purchased some other bands along the way. I like that style because you can change it out in about 15 seconds. If you are paying that close of attention you will notice that it gets changed out often.

Fresnel lens card, paper clip & duct tape. ...

I could cut a lens down to the oval shape of the kit. Paperclip is a good one. Duct tape is too fat. I managed to get some electrical tape in there. Thanks.
