    The neat thing about the InCharge 6-in-1 is the Lightning end is actually a combo Lightning + MicroUSB. ✌No need for another adapter!
    The 6-in-1 uses:
    1. USB-C to USB-C
    2. USB-C to Micro USB
    3. USB-C to Lightning
    4. USB-A to USB-C
    5. USB-A to Micro USB
    6. USB-A to Lightning

    • @KernowEDC
      @KernowEDC  Год назад

      Thanks for the suggestions James! I have a tiny nail file on the Victorinox. All those other bits I have distributed in various mini tool pouches in my car, bag load-outs etc. The soul purpose of this is to have some of the EDC essentials in one compact package. So blades, scissors, pen, note paper, torch/flashlight and some added extras. I didn’t want to overload it a crazy amount as usually have something else at hand in my other kits. Appreciate the input though! I’ll be doing a micro-tool kit very soon so be sure subscribe and hit the bell icon if you wish to be notified :)

    Great little kit mate! For my purposes I’d swap out the lip balm for a small meds kit. A few plasters and a dose of essential meds. I’d be totally set for a summer day out with that lot. I’m just about to go into hospital and might make one of these mini kits up instead of risking getting my best gear nicked. Thanks for the idea! 👍🏻👍🏻

    • @KernowEDC
      @KernowEDC  Год назад +2

      Thanks man! I hope the visit to the hospital goes okay and you make a speedy recovery. You might actually want the chap stick for hospital though as the air can be really dry I find. And the med kit might not be as necessary there 😜 I see what you’re saying about a general kit though. If had crossed my mind to put stuff like plasters/band-aids behind the items but didn’t want to over complicate the kit and kept it fairly simple for the sake of the video. Neat idea though. Stuff like tooth picks, elastic bands and paper clips are always handy! A super glue could replace the lip balm also.

    2 small multi tools is such a great idea tbh, I do the same. Just because in alot of cases you need a tool in each hand to get something done and you cant detach tools from them. Also those compliment eachother pretty well

    • @alimfuzzy
      @alimfuzzy 2 месяца назад

      two pliers, yeah, but what is the point of having those particular items. Maybe he needs two bottle openers at the same time, or two scissors, or a pen and a screwdriver. Especially with the other gear in the case everything worth while is covered without the victorinox, and could leave room for other items. This is stupid redundancy.

    • @kvernesdotten
      @kvernesdotten 2 месяца назад

      @@alimfuzzy I mean its not so much about using the same of 2 tools at the same time, as it is being able to use different tools from each at the same time.
      Like, pliers from one with screwdriver from the other to hold something down. Knife in one hand, a tool to hold things down or to use as a straight edge in the other. On a worn out screw, use flathead/can opener from one to pry from the bottom for purchase, while using the screwdriver on the other. Or what if you want to pry something apart where fingers are too soft, 2 flatheads or awls is great. Last time I used 2 was yesterday to deal with hot parts on a bbq.
      Everyone has different wants and needs though. For me, I'd take the 2 multitools and the flashlight from this kit, then everything else including the carrying bag would be "redundant" for me. The only thing I genuinly think is stupid, is carrying things on you daily that never gets used.

    You can use the toothpick in your SAK to undo that zip tie on your lighter,should you want to be able to re-install the zip tie after using. Just slip the pick into the square box on the zip tie, and it will free up.
    You’ll need to leave a tag end on the tie though.

    Nice one buddy. A Vic Manager (- light + tweezers) is my edc. I would replace the lip balm with the old Strepsils(?) tube I use in my Altoids type tin. This keeps all the little bits like threaded needles & ibuprofen tabs together. The one thing I would like to add is a small multi tool with a 1/4" bit holder. I thought the Powerpint would be it, but your review put me off a bit 😕. Plus I don't really need the other tools. I may just mod an old multi tool by removing unused tools & adding a cut down bit extender?
    Thanks for saving me a few quid 😅. Onen hag oll!

    I have a similar pouch & carry a bit of cash & band-aids, a mini Sharpie, & a mini pen, as well as a compact screwdriver, but it's bulkier than I’d like. I carry a Victorinox Rambler in my 5th pocket, but its screwdrivers are quite small. Great for electronics, but i need a bigger size a lot of times. I wish i could find a small driver that still has 1/4-inch bits. And I’d love to have a 12-foot tape measure handy, but the smallest I’ve found is still a bit bulky.

      Thanks mate! As you know, my main gig (comedic drum roll) is being a gigging musician. The Midnite Manager is so handy as I have a backup flashlight on it and a pen for signing invoices at the end of the night. Often bar staff at busy bars with multiple staff struggle to find a pen as they’re easily misplaced/go missing. My little SAK has saved the day on a TON of occasions and the nail maintenance features help the snags of fingernail wear I get from strumming. A real game-changing piece of kit for me! The dime is pretty handy too, though given the choice between the blade and scissors of the two, the SAK wins in both department too. Can’t go without pliers and tweezers though so the Dime is equally as important. Hope you’re well my friend!

    Nice thought to try using this tech hard case although it's not of my taste (I prefer cordura-like fabrics for pouch. Not too soft not too hard). Personally I'd replace the lip butter with a tube of pills. Also in such a tiny pouch it's a pity to carry two multitools. In my basic carry I have the Nextool mini sailor which is really cheap at around 17€, with top quality tools. And it's around 63mm long which will make it possible to fit in there. It has both pliers and scissors. In such a way you can save a valuable position for something else.
