Great kit. Really awesome suggestions throughout and inexpensive. I really liked the flashlight, and LOVE the Kershaw Cinder. I bought one and thought it was a cute package opener, but I added a snake knot lanyard to it and can get a full 4 finder grip. It sits next to my keys on my way out the door and I grab it all the time.
I usually carry spares in my other kits, but this guy I'm trying to keep slim. If I loose some weight in it, I might consider it though. I'll have to do a runtime test and see what kind of life I get out of it then decide. This isn't a SHTF or anything, so I'm not generally too worried about not having a back up or my main go bag or sling bag near me.
I didn't think of that on a small cheap light to be honest. Thanks for the reminder! I'll swap it around and just put a bit of something to keep the contacts separate.
I never use bread ties, I use the ones that come in kids toys and those blister packs! They hold up better, and can be reused, though they could take up a little more room. The bread ones would be great for disposable things.
Great video! A dizzying array of ideas! 🧠 Fantastic idea to carry a separate Philips so you can have a quality item, without having to spend the rest of your life looking for a tiny multitool with a great Phillips!
Glad you like it! These pouches are great, and at $12 for 2 they're the perfect place to start! Check out my latest video too. There are a few tools I'll probably be putting into my own pouch.
Nice video, I have a micro urban kit that has most of these items you are showing. One suggestion though is to include the links. I am sure lot of viewers are wondering and also are not familiar with all these items.

Terrific little kit! I am definitely picking up the Nitefox and Cinder, both appear to be excellent EDC additions. You crammed a LOT into that pouch! Thanks for sharing.
One other feature on the Nitefox- when you do the quick press for light levels, you can tighten it to lock on that brightness without having to cycle it again. Just a great little light!
@@ConansEasyDadCarry That sounds awesome, thanks for the update! It will be a great addition to my kit. You might also be interested in the updated RovyVon A8, which finally has USB-C! Side lights are UV, red, and white, it's super bright and great to carry on a keychain. Cheers!
@@kirk1968 I actually bought TWO of those! A knock off 450 lumen one and an actual one, and BOTH were non functioning out of the box! I love everything they have to offer, it's prettyuch built for mini edc. But I'll have to spend some time with an actual functional one first before deciding if I like it 😁
@@ConansEasyDadCarry Oh wow, that's unfortunate! Hopefully the QC is also improved, it's a great little light. I was looking down at it when it arrived and accidentally activated the red side light...my retinas hated me after that, hahaha.
I love your videos and the thought you put into your EDC. That looks like a chums wallet? It's great that you carry items taking other people's potential needs into consideration, a huge part of EDC that many overlook. Keeping doing what you do so well my friend!
A chums wallet is on my Christmas list 😁 EDC for me always involves the Every Day Children and Essential Dad Care stuff that I handle day to day, compared to wilderness survival. Glad you like the videos!
Thank you! Hopefully they can inspire other people to think about their EDC in a practical way. Even if it's just a couple small items, we can all carry a little something to make out day easier!
amzn.to/3sqMTii They come on and off sale, but these are a pretty good bet. Cheap, but do the job, and not so expensive that it hurts to strip or lose it
If you wear glasses you can use tape or an elastic hair tie to attach your light to one of the bows of the glasses for a hands free light (in case you don't have a ball cap).
Absolutely! I mean, I'm guilty of usually putting a light in my teeth if I'm not wearing a cap, but that's 100% a good idea for more sanitary hands free 😂
Finally broke down and have a pack of Pokka coming soon! Looking forward to trying them out. We'll see how it stacks up to my favorite, the Nite Ize Inka. And thanks for the sub!
Thank you for this video. I like your ideas for the pouch and I prefer this to small tins. I may have more than one pouch. Don't know what that will look like, but it's much easier for me to pocket a pouch. The medicine bags you refer to here.... are these small zip lock bags that can be found at craft stores, or something else?
The bags came from Walmart, bur I bet you could find them at a craft store. Small medicine baggies, bead baggies, or even small sample baggies would probably all find something for you.
I totally forgot that I usually have a hair tie in there for the kiddo! I just forgot to replace it the other night after she used it 😂 I'm a fan of rubber bands for first aid because they tend to stay better when used for keeping a bandage in place.
How heavy is the pouch and all the contents together. I find that weight is also a key factor in EDC? Great kit! Mine is similar, my odd carry that I never see in anyone else’s is a Dixie cup!
So it weighs just a hair under 8oz. Which may seem like a lot, but my daily carry Galaxy s10 phone weighs in at 7.85oz! And I love the cup idea! I was actually thinking of finding a mini collapsible cup to go with the straw I've been carrying lately too.

I have an idea about you wanting to keep your video shorter. In the beginning you talked extensively about the Carabiner that you added. While I was watching this I was wondering why you weren't talking about the product that you were reviewing you were only talking about what you did. Maybe you can make a separate video on your carabino and Beaner and nobody will watch it
Wasn't really a product review as much as a "here's the useful things in and on my own pouch loadout." These small carabiners aren't something I see on a lot of EDC, even though it's pretty cool for its size. There's a lot of cool ones out there though!

Some fine examples of EDC items. A single edge razor blade counts as a knife. For thread dental floss is easy and cheap cuts itself too. Great video
11k views with only 9 hundred subscribers is crazy. Excellent content 👍

@@ConansEasyDadCarry Too long for this kit, but RovyVon has a hybrid with both a rechargeable and AAA battery I'm thinking about, as it adds options.
I've seen that! I was thinking of picking one up for my sling bag actually. Seems pretty rad.
I’d caution against keeping the battery backwards unless you know the flashlight has reverse polarity protection.
