I am watching from work. On shift as a paramedic, I have phone,keys, and wallet,of course. I also have a surefire le flashlight and a coldsteel rescue knife. If it were permitted "wink" I would have a LCR357 and reload. In a separate bag I have multi tool,scissors, stethoscope, cheat books,spare batteries, snacks, and water. Plus, there are a few more things. I have used everything in the kit several times for the job.

Our girls lives & work in Metropolitan area, they do have a Get Home Bag in their vehicles and their standard EDC on them which is similar to your Carry minus what's on your appendix. They do have items for self defence plus they are well trained offense & defence. We are rather less concern as we know our girls are able to look after themselves. Cordage for shelter building practice a poncho tarp for green screen potential and shelter and hammock uses. Buffs bandanas always, tools are a good carrying choice for I wear my buffs on my wrist and add drawstrings to the hems using a straw so it's an extra carrying. Just a few things lighter most often. Shelter always never be homeless type. Been reading about Bushcraft for decades but now I'm actually doing for the practice for the last couple years. Getting over fears. If you don't practice you'll never know how different it is in the video.
I do believe ones needs and wants change upon location. For example you will need a firestarter alot more if your in the swamp in comparison to the desert.
Bicycle EDC is a bit different. In any urban area, stepping away from an unlocked bike is inviting theft. I always carry a coin or token to unlock a supermarket trolly.

I have a belt like this, only mine has a zipper, not velcro... I added the buckle from another belt that's actually a knife [the buckle] more or less I keep the same things in the belt, plus a bracelet that's made of paracord and has a digital watch, a compass, a little blade, a Ferro rod, a glass breaker, a whistle, and a handcuff key... around my neck rests a neck knife, and a survival card [dog tag] in my pockets I carry a few more things, like a survival pen [self-defense and glass breaker, a cotton bandana, a couple of survival cards in my wallet, a pepper spray shaped as a lighter (!), a stunt ring (!), and a bronze bottle opener that doubles as a brass knuckle, on my keys [that never leave my right hand] I have a few more things, I always carry a multitool, and there's a small bag on my e-bike, that when I leave it I always carry on me... that bag has a few more stuff... I can't have a ''pet-dino'', so a small slingshot is in the bag with me... I'm a smoker so a couple of lighters are always handy... a little too much for a city I know, but you can take me out of the bush... but you can't take the bush out of me... PS: I forgot to talk about tools [in the bag] and ''ways to open doors''... PS2: I found out that the ''fire card'' is made from cellulose, so I bought some sheets and cut them to a ''card size'' to carry around... so yes! I improvise a lot!... thnx 4 the tips!
Im not tool reliant, but i will always carry a blade of some sorts.. if i find myself without a blade i usually make one immediately.. that way i have one in case i happen to need it quickly.. other than a blade, im good with nothing..

Think what you carry...only 3 things, my phone, wallet and keys and apple watch, never needed a flashlight or anything else. I always carry a backpack because i tend to get a lot of packadges at work so need to get them home, i have a charger there, and some meds i have there that i use frequently that i also have in my wallet. all have airtags, but apart from that, i dont see the point, if i go camping its another thing, ill have different wallet phone, etc...i wont go with my phone that only lasts 1 day camping, thats just stupid. oh i also have a 2nd phone in the backpack because conection to my isp sucks so i have a backup just in case always, but thats all...dont really see the point of overcomplicated edc...never needed a knife, a flashlight, a screwdriver, stuff like that...why have them? All you need is a wallet with your id and cash and revolut card, your phone, apple watch and keys, thats all...no need for anything else. why would you need it? you are just going from point a to point b, you have better emergency stuff in any of those points...the belt is way over...get a backpack...ive been wearing a backpack everywhere for over 30 years with no problem. at school i used to carry my schoolbooks and food and after i just have it to carry stuff...

As a nurse i have been using that exact model of Olight for 4 years on lots of night shifts and it has not missed a beat.

Lighter, Swiss army rancher, dozer folder , my wallet has a fresnal lense some hooks and line. A sm flashlight , head phones n phone.black marker n pen a sm pocket comb. My place of work would fire me if I had my fire arm in the building, so it's in the truck with my sm pack.

Think what you carry...only 3 things, my phone, wallet and keys and apple watch, never needed a flashlight or anything else. I always carry a backpack because i tend to get a lot of packadges at work so need to get them home, i have a charger there, and some meds i have there that i use frequently that i also have in my wallet. all have airtags, but apart from that, i dont see the point, if i go camping its another thing, ill have different wallet phone, etc...i wont go with my phone that only lasts 1 day camping, thats just stupid. oh i also have a 2nd phone in the backpack because conection to my isp sucks so i have a backup just in case always, but thats all...dont really see the point of overcomplicated edc...never needed a knife, a flashlight, a screwdriver, stuff like that...why have them?
All you need is a wallet with your id and cash and revolut card, your phone, apple watch and keys, thats all...no need for anything else. why would you need it? you are just going from point a to point b, you have better emergency stuff in any of those points...the belt is way over...get a backpack...ive been wearing a backpack everywhere for over 30 years with no problem. at school i used to carry my schoolbooks and food and after i just have it to carry stuff...
