    Thank you for the video. I was trying to make sense of why Palm oil is so rare and expensive in Nairobi. I want to eat healthier and Olive oil seems to be more available here at th the super markets. They don’t seem to know what is Palm Oil. I found a small vendor who sells it on Jumia however your video helps me understand why it’s so expensive. All in All this stuff is needed in our cell membrane , so that is worth any amount of money. People need to know the truth about Palm oil and why this stuff can improve your health. Please bring this to Kenya. Next time Kenya Airways stops in Lagos, load it up with Palm Oil. Don’t allow them to fly back to Nairobi empty. This is the time to trade across Africa. We need more of it. Ashe.

      I wish ASEAN can trade with AFRICA using our own exclusive currency system, without any nosebutting from the regions where the colonizers came from. But of course, only west-conforming or CCP-conforming policians are allowed in our governments, never the pro-people leaders 😔

      @@andrejchandler2746 I agree. This can be a good business. I am currently in Atlanta. When I get back to Nairobi on my next vacation, i will look into it. Maybe create a website and a deliver to your door by courier system, and trust me I would love to visit Nigeria, and establish a good reliable partner. The challenge for me is I am only in Africa, 3-4 weeks in a year, so I need someone to manage the business as I live in the U.S. Relatives are not an option. I have lost thousands of dollars dealing with them. This will need to be a professional career minded, and go getting employee, that can work without supervision. Not sure if such people exist any more in my beloved Kenya. We have become gangsters. Everyone is complaining about how difficult it is to find trust worthy employees in Kenya. My friend who owns 3 M-pesa shops, had a lady employee steal the entire float.

    This oil( red palm oil ) is sustainable (because it has a high yield)
    and withstands high temperatures, without becoming toxic \ cancerous,
    like canola, soy oil, corn oil, olive oil and all other vegetable oils,
    and healthy unlike all oils mentioned, except for olive, it has many
    vitamins, natural from and used for thousands of years in Africa, the
    ancient Egyptians used, and considered it a sacred oil, and by people
    from the diaspora (such as north and northeast of Brazil), historically,
    for centuries europeans and descendants try to demonize it, it's all
    about racism, deculturation, and keeping cheap labor (in africa and
    south america and asia), it may change the african economy in the
    future, but today it is more produced in asia, a refined version, which
    is not healthy like real palm oil, but even better than all the oils
    mentioned, especially better than canola (this is garbage, sold as
    healthy by North Americans), and some Asians plant it in the wrong
    places, but who else buys it are processed foods\industrialized and
    cosmetics companies, Europeans and North Americans, instead of
    demonizing them (demonizing companies), white vegans and white
    environmentalists, Europeans and North Americans demonize palm oil, of
    course.

  • @samuelkelly2197
    @samuelkelly2197 Год назад

    That was simple and lovely. Like the Lady said, NO COLOURING and it’s more special when you can do it yourself as you know what you are eating. I saw one and my oh mine, a woman in side a pond of oil. I aske myself, what if she’s in her period of even Urinates in it. God have mercy on us. But thankfully, we African over cook and with much heat our foods thereby killing all germs and the like. Hmmmm, I am done. If you can, do it yourself. But I think the lady would have got more oil if she had a pressing unit. Something that can well press the stock for all the oil in the fibre. Today, some of the Palm nut oil we use are from Malaysia. Should the Chinese get into this business, we are finished. Our engineers from the Universities always want to be in white colour jobs and in suit, so we will never improve in a lot of things. Hmmmmm

    I have read this oil benefit for humans and even animals, some written have informed its benefit for birds. that's why i come to this channel. from the information gotten that its carotene and other nutritions are going to lose caused by heating.
    so my question is, can we extract this palm fruit without any heating process? and if can, will its benefit survive for a long time?

    • @tessydaquinoskitchen
      @tessydaquinoskitchen  4 года назад

      You can’t without heating.

    • @yolandazamani5776
      @yolandazamani5776 Год назад +1

      Carotene and other nutrients are not lost because of just heating it and extracting the oil. It is a propaganda the white man used to demonize oils that THEY did not produce. The truth is that if the palm oil boils or fries beyond it's boiling point that's when it loses its nutrients. So it doesn't lose its nutrients if you are preparing stews, sauces, soups, pudden or even frying eggs with it. Please browse African Journal Online if you want to know the truth about palm oils and coconut oil.
      In Ghana we use it widely for food. That's how our forefathers used it and lived long. My father's grandma, whom I came to meet, according to my father loved palm oil but she clocked 125 before she die.
      So the golden rule is that be moderate with palm oil and you would enjoy it forever. Honey is good but too much of it makes the body sick. That's according to the good book (the Bible).
      Stay healthy my friend!

    @yolandazamani5776 Год назад +1

    So after extracting the oil you threw the pulp(flesh) away? Girl, you just wasted another nutritious part.
    In Ghana we mix the pulp with water to extract the juice. Then you pour the juice onto a partly cooked spiced meat. Put it on fire, add a spoon and a half full of tomato paste. Add blended pepper, ginger and onion. Add some sliced garden eggs and salt to taste. Cover the cooking pot with the lid and bring to boil. Reduce fire and remove the lid but allow it to boil for 30 to 45 minutes when the rest of the oil left in the pulp has collected on the surface then the soup is done.
    In Ghana, we eat this soup we call palmnut soup with fufu, rice, yam, cocoyam, socked gari, kokonte balls, Fante or Ga kenkey and the list goes on.
    So please, don't throw the pulp away without extracting the juice.

      Aww 🥰 thanks for the recipe. I didn’t throw them away. I used them for the soup called Banga soup 😁.

      This oil( red palm oil ) is sustainable (because it has a high yield) and withstands high temperatures, without becoming toxic \ cancerous, like canola, soy oil, corn oil, olive oil and all other vegetable oils, and healthy unlike all oils mentioned, except for olive, it has many vitamins, natural from and used for thousands of years in Africa, the ancient Egyptians used, and considered it a sacred oil, and by people from the diaspora (such as north and northeast of Brazil), historically, for centuries europeans and descendants try to demonize it, it's all about racism, deculturation, and keeping cheap labor (in africa and south america and asia), it may change the african economy in the future, but today it is more produced in asia, a refined version, which is not healthy like real palm oil, but even better than all the oils mentioned, especially better than canola (this is garbage, sold as healthy by North Americans), and some Asians plant it in the wrong places, but who else buys it are processed foods\industrialized and cosmetics companies, Europeans and North Americans, instead of demonizing them (demonizing companies), white vegans and white environmentalists, Europeans and North Americans demonize palm oil, of course.
