In Togo we prepare the batana nuts the same like that. So the creamy juice is use to make a soup for fufu. We call it "dékoudéssi" Super when it is welldone. Then we extract an oil from the nuts. You can use this oil for cooking, healing, or as cosmetic

It's not exactly the same palm kennel oil that made from Red palm fruit. This is a different variety. The tree is very short and the oil from the palm itself is not red, kinda yellowish orange. We do have this variety in West Africa, where I'm from it's locally called 'Masanke', while red palm is called 'Glogboy'.

I read some of the comments Africa palm trees and Honduras palm trees are not the same they are related but carry different components or DNA so both oils wouldn't have the same effects. Try Wikipedia on both trees
