    I just finished mine and I looove it!! (Side note: I am 5’3” and wanted it a little shorter so folded and crocheted sleeves at only about 15” instead of 20”) thanks so much for this great tutorial crafting shed!!

    I am in the middle of following this tutorial (very clear instructions!) and started out using a 5.5mm hook instead of a 6mm. I’m using white yarn and the stitches just look too loose for my liking and it makes it seem sloppy. I switched to a 5mm hook and it looks much better now. So for anyone else following this pattern just keep in mind you might want to use a smaller hook than what she’s using in the video.

    ❤️❤️❤️👍🏼thank you, I love how you teach , so thorough and you don't leave me hanging, you follow me and guide..I'm no longer as scared as a beginner..also thank you for telling me how many chains in the beginning and telling me how long the chain should measure That's really helpful as my tension is tighter than yours. You're a pure talent..thank you so much...can you crochet a cape with hood as future project or a kimono cardigan?

    Hello..... this Bolero is very beautiful
    I have a question if I have balls of cotton weight 50 grams. How much ball do I need to do this bolero؟ if my body size is 40.

  • @jeaneanemiller7359

    How many starting chains for a larger size. I Like the openness for evening.

    • @CraftingShed
      @CraftingShed  7 лет назад +9

      The pattern is a multiple of 10 chains + 3. I'm not very sure but maybe add another 30 or 50 chains for starting chains. But please feel free to estimate. Stick to 10 + 3 and you'll be fine. Thank you!

    Love it! You said using hooks H and J , you are working with J so what about H? Any of them can be used as it depends in ones gauge? thanks for sharing.

    • @CraftingShed
      @CraftingShed  7 лет назад +1

      I use the size H hook when I did 1 last row of double crochet in the bottom of the shrug. But you're right, both of them can be used depending on your preference. Thank you for asking.

    PLEASE!!! Tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have made this twice and it never comes around to the front like the one posted. It only comes under the armpits. I have made it longer and wider and I used the same measurements suggested. I really love this shrug and want to make for a friend.

    • @CraftingShed
      @CraftingShed  7 лет назад

      Thank you for asking. This shrug does not really come around to the front unless held together (to the front) just like in the picture. But it does not come just under the armpit either. This just hangs right by the shoulder just like a regular shrug. You said you made it longer and wider already, that would be one of my suggestions. Also, when you attach the side together to make an armhole, don't make the attachments too wide, mine is about 5 inches, a bit lesser would be probably work for you. Bottomline, make the shrug opening wider. I hope this helps. Thanks again.
