    I finally completed the shrug!
    It’s beautiful
    I want to share 1 point, instead of giving borders to all sides it’s better to give only top and bottom. Then fold for sleeves, do HDC in the sleeve part circular, and sew the remaining.
    I made with border first, but it was bulky, it didn’t give the finished look maybe it depends on the yarn or the size I made my shrug oversized

    This looks so beautiful. I can’t wait to make it. The yarn I bought is Caron cotton cakes. It says is medium 4 and I’m using a 5. MM hook/H hook. How many chains do you suggest for a Large Shrug?

    • @simplyangeltiah9691
      @simplyangeltiah9691  Год назад

      Using a bigger yarn and hook is ok. I would add 20 chains for a large size

    Thanks so much for sharing this with us! A quick question & challenge I discovered: if we put 3 HDC’s in the chain 6 spaces between the anchor HDC’s (the ones that go into the top of the SC’s) on our first row when beginning the second HDC border segment, we wind up with far too many stitches to = our starting chain stitch count. So, example, if we did 130 starting chains, then 130 HDC’s for 4 rows to start the project, shouldn’t we want the same stitch count on the opposite border section? I was afraid it might be wider at one edge compared to the other so I did only 2 HDC’s between (in the chain 6 spaces) versus 3. That ended up with equal to starting chain. Make sense? Or are we supposed to have a wider side/higher stitch count on that side intentionally as you instructed?

    Hi how many chains would you recommend for a XL sixe

    • @simplyangeltiah9691
      @simplyangeltiah9691  2 месяца назад

      I don’t go by number of chains for sizing, I go by measurements. It’s more accurate. So just measure the person you are making this for and make the number of chains that corresponds with that

    So for a medium size how many inches for the meshy part...more than 20?

    • @simplyangeltiah9691
      @simplyangeltiah9691  2 месяца назад

      Definitely more than 20 inches but better measure and go with the sizes that way

      Try cotton yarn. They are often hypoallergenic. Some acrylic, silk and even polyester yarns are also hypoallergenic. You need need to ask at your local yarn store or make sure you read labels on the ones you buy online
